Central American Migrants Unpopular, . . .

. . . in Mexico.  

The Washington Post. reports the migrants crossing Mexico bound for the USA are not very popular in Mexico.

55% [of Mexicans] favor returning them to their countries of origin.

" . . . 51 percent of Mexicans support using the country’s newly formed national guard to combat migration of undocumented immigrants in Mexico, a key provision of the [recent] agreement [between the USA and Mexico]."

n.b. This in spite of the fact that 77% of Mexicans polled have a "bad opinion" of President Trump.

I'm glad to see DonDiego has put the bar of discourse to the height of Mexico.   Thats several inches higher than the one set by the President.

I guess thats progress.   Good for you, DonDIego.   You've risen your discourse to that of another country whose people you want to go back from whence they came.

Just to clarify poor old DonDiego's actual position, . . . DonDiego welcomes anyone, . . . to repeat to those hard-of-seeing: ANYONE, . . . who has followed appropriate United States immigration protocols and laws to reside within the United States, most especially those who have chosen to reside permanently.

DonDiego opposes illegal entry into the United States by anyone regardless of their race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, or ability/disability.

For example:

___ DonDiego would oppose the illegal entry into the USA of a 5-foot-4-inch 28-year-old White, Protestant woman measuring 35-24-34, with the ability to engineer flying cars (which were promised to poor old DonDiego over 60-years-ago)  from Sweden.

___ DonDiego would welcome the legal entry into the USA of a 4-foot-8 inch 52-year-old Brownish, Zoroastrian man measuring 42-50-46 with the ability to juggle bowling balls from Iran.

People who legally apply for assylum at the US port of entry are not "illegals".  And that would be the migrants DonDiego is referring to in his opening post.   (The same ones Mexico and our president feel to be unwelcome...and made to drink from toilets, denied showers, sleep on concrete and have their kids stripped away)

I dont begrude anyone for having a thoughtful opinion about how many should be allowed in and uinder what reasons....but its the whole dehumanization concept thats really making AMerica not so great again.

In June, 94,897 people were apprehended BETWEEN THE PORTS OF ENTRY on the southwest border, compared with 132,880 in May and 99,290 in April. These people ARE NOT legally entering the USA.

Likely they saw what was happening to the legal applicants at the ports of entry.    You know the whole cage and kidnapping thing that you support..       Can you blame em for taking a detour?

ANd thats fine.   Does that make it ok to put them in the conditions at the border while they find out if they get in or not?    Trump sure thinks so...and given by the complete lack of any accountability from his base (many of whom cheer those conditions) its fair to say they believe so too.

And that will prove to be a very ugly chapter in our history.   

Yes, the conditions are okay with me.  They have options which would allow them to bypass these conditions, but they have chosen not to.  Their choice.

You know how people think its hyperbolic to  make an anaology with Nazi's and Hitler?   No.  Not here It isn't.

People who applaud internment camp conditions at the border and the suffering, family displacement, rapes, and deaths that occur as a result....well, thats sadisitc on the same exact level that Heinrich Himlar enjoyed oversseing his camps.   And that is truly disgusting on the same exact level that analogy.
