Godwin would have chimed in with a Nazi reference on this thread right about the same time I did....when Boilerman and Tom (and I guess Don Diego too?) all condoned the human rights violations on the border as a constructive way to engage refugees seeking asylum in the United States.
And I dont feel the least biit compelled to reel that call in.
i. DonDiego opines Mr. Mike Godwin would be unlikely to cite a NAZI analogy in any on-line discussion not, in fact, about NAZIs.
ii. The point of Godwin's Law was Hitler's inappropriate behaviors were far worse than most inappropriate behaviors cited within online debates; i.e. those who cite Hitler either do not know enough about Hitler or do not know enough about the topic under discussion, . . . or both.
e.g. "At the height of the deportations in 1943-44, an average of 6,000 Jews were gassed each day at Auschwitz."

* The above is not intended to be interpreted as approval or disapproval of the conditions on the US/Mexican border by poor old DonDiego,. . . just a note on the degree of perceived human rights violations.
* The above may be correctly interpreted as disapproval of Hitler's Jewish-Extermination policy.
