Chicago public school spending vs something reasonable

Nice try. Louisiana actually ranks 15th. And since only 3% of eligible students in Louisiana took the SAT in 2023, even that statistic doesn't mean much.

Conservitard governments make conservitard states STOOOOOPID.

Bingo.    Kids who don't go to college don't take college entrance tests.
Which state do you think has more college educated students per capita?    Indiana or Illinois?

Here’s your answer

Spoiler alert !    The answer makes Boilerman look as dishonest on this topic as his narrative about the safety of Oak St Beach in Chicago.

Here we go again.  The topic is Liberal Chicago's ineptness.  PJ and all of the Liberals want to include the balance of the state in their data collection because these highly Conservative locations help cover up Chicago's mess.  Chicago is spending almost $37,000 per student each year, and they don't teach the kids.  I'll bet that the argument made by many of the Liberal so called education admin folks is that more money  would solve the problem.

If the schools controlled all the variables that go into student success then every student in any given school would get the same exact scores on tests as all the other students....and nobody would drop out of school.    do all the kids at Brownsburg HS get the same grade, Boilerman?    Your bs narrative says they should.

Poverty, broken families, role models, parent engagement, gangs, and crime ALL figure into student success in school.     Boilerman says all these variables are the same in his cherry picked middle class suburb as inner city Chicago.

makes you wonder who educated Boilerman.

You are correct, more money is solving the problem of kids getting a B.S. in BS such as gender studies and the gov't bailing them out of their $200,000 mistake while they work at Starbucks with their blue hair, face tattoos and nose rings.  Alternatively they might work OnlyFans and show their bleached butthole.  In return they vote D.

Getting back to the topic; chicago spends a lot of money on schools for poor results.  The mayor's handpicked

school board just resigned

High school diplomas don't mean much when less than 30% of Chicago students are at grade level in math and reading

Boilerboob and stupid Tom are just flogging the same old, tired, dishonest argument. Cities tend to have more social problems than wealthy white suburbs. Cities tend to vote Democrat/liberal, while suburbs tend to vote Republican/conservative. Because Boilerboob and stupid Tom lack basic reasoning skills, they attribute communities' disparities in school performance to their political affiliation.

It's SO easy to blow their argument to bits. All you need to do is find a conservative/Republican city--ANY city. Its students' test scores will be much worse than those of the students in the surrounding suburbs. Politics has nothing to do with it. Wealth and poverty make the difference.

Chicago has had problems for years but the scores are declining; so the problem is that the schools performance is declining

CPS student proficiency rates remain below pre-pandemic levels and demographic achievement gaps persist in newest release of statewide test data.

This is true nationwide, in both cities and suburbs, in both Republican and Democratic areas.

Stupid Tom isn't equipped to pass judgment on schools' performance--the nation's students are performing worse than before the pandemic, so is that the fault of the schools, the students, or neither?

Big fat hint for stupid Tom: P-A-N-D-E-M-I-C. An entire school year lost. So fifth-graders in 2024 are underperforming compared to fifth-graders in 2019. EVERYWHERE.

DUHHHHH, stupid Tom.
