  What part was a lie?   62% of China's energy is produced from coal. They are also the world's largest producer of windmills and they do sell them to other countries. So where is the lie?

My skepticism of wind turbine technology notwithstanding, I hardly think that red china is a country whose policies are worthy of praise or emulation. 

It's a proven technology, to the point where recent developments have been more on the order of refinements and improvements in efficiency than any major breakthroughs. Wind power has been part of the human experience for millenia. So I don't get what makes you skeptical about it...it's right up there with the water wheel and the sundial.

It seems bizarre to NOT use the sun and the wind...free by definition...to meet our energy needs, rather than chewing holes in the ground and burning the products we withdraw. China's doing it because they need to. They have relatively few stores of fossil fuels, but they do have huge swaths of empty land where the wind blows pretty much all the time.

I'm just amazed by Trump's willingness to stand up there and lie out his ass when even he, ignorant, addled old fuck that he is, must know that China leads the world in wind-powered energy production. Not just products--production.

Oh, and despite all the bleating about SOOOOCIALISM, China has to be acknowledged as a success story. It wasn't so long ago that millions of Chinese people starved to death every winter. Then they spent decades in the thrall of a lunatic despot who didn't have the brains to run a noodle stand, let alone the most populous country on Earth. Their present situation and standing in the world, considering where they started from, is downright miraculous.

Even if they DID incur the Turd's wrath when they turned down his demands to be allowed to build a casino/resort there.
