Dems control the House--barely
The Republipigs will refuse to confirm any of Harris' Cabinet nominees or any of her judicial picks. The Supreme Court will be reduced to seven justices. While spending bills can clear the House, the Senate will shoot most of them down. Harris will veto any MAGA shit the Senate sends her, and they won't be able to override her.
There will be about a billion court cases filed by the MAGAs protesting election outcomes. The results of the election may not be certified by the still-MAGA House. And crooked MAGA election officials will almost certainly try to cancel the vote in districts they lose.
So we're reduced to hoping that we arrive at a divided government peacefully and without rioting or bloodshed. Then, we'll have four solid years of gridlock. And still, that's infinitely better than a fascist Trump second term!
