She was born and raised in the Bronx until kidergarten...and she's lived there throughout her adult life. Her working class family moved to a better school district to give her more opportunity as a child. And thats the basis of your breaking news claim. Thanks for stopping by.

Actually, she moved to Yorktown when she was 3, graduated from high school & then went to Boston University. So, for almost 20 of her 29 years she lived outside the Bronx, even though she claimed differently.

According to its Manta listing, the company boasted an annual revenue of $500,000 per year.
Her mother, meanwhile, confirmed the family’s move to Westchester County in her own interview with the New York Times, and said that it was her mother — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s grandmother — that cleaned houses in Puerto Rico, not her.
She claims to own a company called Brook Avenue Press, but it doesn’t have a website or even an address.
So she has been in politics for about 10 minutes & already her entire background is a lie.

Yep, when the conservatives can't stop lying about someone you know they are really frightened of that person. The outright lies started with Newsmax and trickled all the way down to Tom and Doc even though the lies were debunked almost immediately after the Newsmax tweet.
So to start off with we have a so-called conservative intellectual that is either too lazy to use Google to do 30 seconds of research on which college she attended or is so stupid that he doesn't know what the Ivy Leauge is. I don't know which is worse.
Secondly, she lived in the Bronx up until she was 5 and moved to the house in question posted by the conservative intellectual. To me, it is just damn near crazy to say a family of five living in 900 square foot single story home without a garage is living an elitist lifestyle.
All of her extended family lived in the Bronx growing up and she frequently visited there. She moved back to the Bronx after college. Now, here is where you see how perverse the lie is. The bio page text from her campaign website is posted below and you can see exactly how she described where she is from. Yet, Tom repeats the same old debunked smear because he is too lazy to take 30 seconds to find out the truth for himself. Yep, conservatives are very scared of her. Tom, the conservative thinkers have already moved on to their next smear of her. Maybe, in a couple days when it trickles down, you can post it here, and I will debunk it for you.
From an early age, Alexandria grew up with a deep understanding of income inequality. The state of Bronx public schools in the late 80s and early 90s sent her parents on a search for a solution. She ended up attending public school in Yorktown, 40 minutes north of her birthplace. As a result, much of her early life was spent in transit between her tight-knit extended family in the Bronx & her daily student life. It was clear to her, even then, that the zip code a child was born in determined much of their destiny. The 40 minute drive represented a vastly different quality of available schooling, economic opportunity, and health outcomes.

I see since I was typing my last post-Tom has picked up on the latest smear. Tom, you really need to read her official bio instead of believing what other people say it is. Tom why don't you tell me how a prominent architect ends up living with five people in a drafty 900 square foot home with a leaky roof.
Where this blatent liar lived, in the long run, really has nothing to do with her twisted politics, though she definitely has all of the credentials of a career Democrat.

The point is Tom and the conservative media lied on purpose.
1. They said she went to an elite Ivy League college. She didn't.
2. They said she was living an elite lifestyle where she grew up. She didn't.
3. They said she misrepresented her background. She didn't. It has been on her website for months.
4. Tom thinks a prominent architect would live in 900 square foot home with a family of five.
5. Now they are saying she was pro big business before running for office. She wasn't. She was pro-small business and even worked helping people set up small businesses of their own so they could support themselves before running for office.
The straight-shootin cowboy from Texas, George W Bush, spent his school years in the elitist boarding schools of New England before attending Yale. But he wore a cowboy hat so he could appeal to people like Tom. And millionarie lawyer, Scott Brown, drove a pickup truck for the same reason. And Anne Romney really struggled with her million ollar bank account in the early years of her marriage to Mitt.
Conservatives have a hard time with people like Obama and Cortez who truly came from modest circumstances and achieve success. They prefer the bullshit rags-to-riches tales fanned out to them by conservative media.
