Congratulations To Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez For Her Upset Victory

I am taking things from her bio, the original one before it was changed.  I didn't say she lived an "elitist life", just a different life than the one she claimed.  I grew up in the Bronx, moved out when I was 21 & returned to visit relatives.  I still work there on projects, but I don't claim to have always lived in the Bronx

She claimed to grow up in the Bronx - she didn't

She lived almost 20 years outside of the Bronx, where she claimed she lived.

She said her mother cleaned houses, turns out it was her grandmother.

In the northeast all homes wind up with leaky roofs at some point, due to the damp cold climate.

She claims to own a business, but one cannot find it.

Again 10 minutes into her political life she has to start spinning

Tom her original website was a one-page affair that first appeared on December 31st, 2017 on the wayback machine. I have pasted the original bio below. 

It doesn't say she grew up in the Bronx it says she was born there. She lives in the Bronx where is she supposed to claim she lives?  You claimed in an earlier post she moved when she was 3.  She moved when she was 5 according to the very same article you misquote.   There is an Inquisitor (a right-wing tabloid)  article that says her grandmother cleaned houses and not her mom.  Then it links to that New York Times article you mentioned saying according to the New York Times. But the funny thing is if you actually read the New York Times article that the Inquisitor links to it said nothing of the sort. I guess you saw the tabloid article and took it as fact? Do you think bigfoot exists too?  Put the conservative crack pipe down it is getting downright embarrassing for you.   

Alexandria is a working New Yorker and leader in her community. She was born in the Bronx to a proud Puerto Rican family. She never planned on running for office, but decided to enter the race for the 14th District when she realized New York needed a real champion in Congress. Too many of New Yorkers are working hard for too little while big donors on Wall Street rig our democracy and economy for the few.

Why do conservatives have such a hard time with a genuine American success story? Hard working parents from the Bronx do their best to make sure their kids get a good education in a good public school.  They move their five-member family into a tiny 900 square foot home so their kids can attend school in that district. Their daughter pulls herself up by her bootstraps waits tables and bartends, so she can run for Congress. 

Instead, their working-class champion is Donald Trump the son of a multimillionaire who went to all the best private schools, and literally shits in a gold toilet.  

The bio previously stated, “She ended up attending public school 40 minutes north in Yorktown, and much of her life was defined by the 40-minute commute between school and her family in the Bronx.”

That sentence in the bio has since been changed, though it still doesn’t explicitly state that she moved out of the Bronx to Yorktown when she was 5 years old; after her father bought a house in Yorktown when she was 2.

The new bio “She ended up attending public school in Yorktown, 40 minutes north of her birthplace,” it now states. “As a result, much of her early life was spent in transit between her tight-knit extended family in the Bronx & her daily student life."

That statement means nothing as it she could have have only visited her Bronx relatives on Christmas.

The point is that on her original bio she said she lived in the Bronx & commuted to Yorktown.  It has since changed to the current ambiguous statement.  If she is truly a new political voice why lie so early in her first campaign?  What other lies is she hiding?

Tom and the rest of the birthers have huge problems with dishonest politicians.   Thats why they want an honest conversation about the humble background of a legitimate working class woman who made her way to a Congressional election.

Tom does not want an honest conversation about Obama's birth cetificate.   Or Trump's dishonesty about extra marital affairs.   or his dishonesty about the meeting his birth defect son had with Russian operatives..  Or his dishonesty about having a health care plan that would cover everyone at much cheaper prices.   Or his dishonesty about there being an Obama  spy in his campaign.

The birthers' intolerance for dishonesty  is a very busy one way street. 

She is the one who has branded herself as a "new age politician" calling for honesty & transparancy in politics.  I merely pointed out tht she is as full of crap as the rest of the politicians.

How come there is no mention of her business Brook Ave Press in her bio?  How about this tidbit from the tax & spend socialist?  She apparently was against taxes, before she was for them.

"While running Brook Avenue Press, an incorporated Bronx-based publishing firm for children’s books, Ocasio-Cortez supported a bill that would provide tax deductions for business start-up costs, arguing that taxes directly impacted her business profits, The Daily Caller noted in a July 5 report.

“You don’t really make a profit in your first year,” Ocasio-Cortez told the now-defunct DNAinfo in 2012. “To get taxed on top of that is a real whammy.”"

A different kind of politician that's going to shake up Washington you say?  You mean like the pussy-grabber you cast your vote for?  

I wonder if she plays golf.   Wouldn't that really get your goat ! 

Apparently PJ does not have a problem with "dishonest politicians" - his "heros", Clinton and Obama- both liars to the nth degree. "Pussy grabber?" - apparently PJ has never partaken in any "locker room" talk with other men- why am I not surprised?....

I cant say I've ever discussed sexual assault in any locker room I've been in.  But maybe that's how people roll in David MIller's evangelical church.    I suggest people dont drop the soap in their showers.    

David's hypocrisy on dishonesty is only one-upped by his bullshit facade about Christianity.   He's in the right party.

Yeah, I can honestly say I never waxed poetic about the glory I found in sexually assaulting women in the locker room.  It must be a Republican thing.  I never liked to linger in the locker room as I was afraid of being assaulted or spied on by a  Denny Hastert or Jim Jordan type Republican. 

 Sexual assault? You prudes make me laugh- "locker room" talk is just that. Apparently neither of you have ever "boasted" about real or imagined conquests with the other guys. And you obviously don't think that women don't do the same. You two should get out of your Mom's basement sometime and join in the real world. Then again, stay where you are - the real world would scare the prude out of you.
