Congress Signs Up For $40 Billion Per Month Ukraine+ Subscription

Satire, (Or is it?) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — To avoid fighting over further spending bills, Congress has opted instead to sign up for the brand new subscription service Ukraine+, which only costs $40 billion per month. "We are proud to be the very first customers for this exciting new service," said Congressman Dan Crenshaw. "Henceforth, $40 billion US dollars will simply be automatically deducted from our account every month, allowing us to continue laundering money and paying off defense lobbyists in perpetuity. Thanks, Ukraine+!" Experts say subscribing to Ukraine+ is absolutely essential in order to "save democracy or whatever." Studies also confirmed that if anyone disapproves of the new subscription, they are probably a Russian agent and love Putin. Ukraine+ will not offer any streaming entertainment options, but will give millions of Americans peace of mind knowing their hard-earned tax dollars are going to help Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and Raytheon continue manufacturing weapons to make up for their losses after the Afghanistan withdrawal while preserving the Liberal World Order™. Putin-lovers (Republicans) HATE the idea of stopping a fascist dictator from conquering a neighboring country.

  This above insulting, sick post has been reposted in the "Questions To The Staff" portion of the Forums as a question of should it be allowed. I was under the impression that this type of filthy, uncalled for post would not be allowed and would be reason for being barred. I, for one, am disgusted at what has been said here - this should not be allowed.

The guy who wanted us to continue to hand out trillions in Afghanistan to Taliban Warlords is bitching about money going to defend Democracy in and knock down Putin.  

No wonder he supports the Bone Spur Coward.    

  You seem to forget that the billions given to the Ukraine are American tax dollars that belong to Americans.

So were the one in Afghanistan - and those were going to prop up a Taliban friendly warlords who had no intention of ever buidling a democracy.

Another noteworthy contrast is  the Ukraine money comes right back to the US as its being used to buy or weapons.   The Afghan money just went to pay salaries for Afghan military members who now work for the Taliban.

  Charity begins at home - there are literally millions of destitute/homeless Americans who should be being helped here in America by the billions being sent to the Ukraine. 

Oh wow! Now David is advocating for his hard-earned tax dollars being used to help the filthy homeless! You never know what he's going to say these days!!!

And the majority of Americans support their tax dollars being used this way, in a bill authored and passed by a majority of democratically elected officials, so you have nothing to bitch about. Sometimes democracy produces results you don't want. Live with it.
