Golly, an article from a conservative anti-immigration advocacy group. Doc, I dare say your article is a bit biased. Since most illegal immigrants work on phony documents like those handed out by the Trump Organization, they pay into Social Security for years but are never able to collect any benefits. I am always told by conservatives that Social Security is going broke. People paying in but never being able to take out seems like a can't lose proposition to me. Sort of like Kim Jong Un's deal with Donald Trump wherein in exchange for nothing Trump grants him all sorts of concessions.

The conclusion of David Miller's article cherry picks data that supports their argument and ignores data that does not. Trump too. But somehow I already knew that before verifying with the fact checkers.
PJ's post has nothing to do with the theme of the thread.
David's post is for ILLEGAL immigration & the costs these people bring, while PJ's post is for legal immigration. People support LEGAL immigration but are against people breaking the law to enter the country.
Liberals like to mix the 2 in order distort the debate.

David Miller's right wing rag cherry picked the data that supported their argument and ignored data that did not.....and they fabcricated an incorrectly high number of immigrants to inflate their bullshit calculations....and ignored the taxes paid by those immigrants and their children.
But I at least give David MIller credit for posting his source. Tom is always too embarrassed to post the source where he gets his made-up bullshit from.

The problem with PJ's study is that it assumes illegals pay taxes but in reality, the polar opposite is true. Federal government data shows that while roughly half of illegal immigrants file federal tax returns, the vast majority of them don’t pay any federal income taxes. Instead, they use these returns to claim refundable tax credits, which are a form of cash welfare. In other words, illegal immigrants mainly use the federal income tax code to collect money from U.S. citizens.
I would like to read PJ's "source" for the "fabricated calculations" that PJ refers to - I doubt that there is a source other than in PJ's mind.
