The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was once a useful organization sharing responsibility for the defeat of racist policies and organizations. 

But that was along time ago.

Now it is generally recognized as a left-wing propaganda organization basically in operation to enrich its officers and employees, . . . and foment hatred of any organization to the right of Socialists. 

It's present bias has been recognized even by the slow-moving Federal Government, as the FBI has removed the SPLC from its Hate Crime web page where it had been listed as a "resource" for information on hate crimes.  A primary cause for the removal was an attack upon the Family Resource Council headquarters in Washington DC, which the SPLC had designated as a hate group, which influenced a young fellow who wanted "to kill as many people as I could . . . then smear a Chicken-fil-A [sic] sandwich on their face."

Um, No they weren't - that is another bullshit statistic fabricated from a white nationalist website run by bigots in white sheets.  And like has already been said - homicides are far worse amongst people fitting Tom's demographic.
