Tampon Tim -- Free Tampons, no strings attached
When I was in grade school, we made a lot of jokes about tampons.
Unlike you, we grew out of it.
Actually one of the best inventions of all time.
Of course, only if you'd been a female suffering through the 'sanitary pad' years in 7th. Walking through hallway after class, a classmate whispers in your ear "You've got something on the back of your dress." Aarrggghhh.

Yes, I realized that pretty early on. That's why David's post is crude and juvenile.
Remember all the kerfuffle when schools tried to put free tampon dispensers in girls' bathrooms? The people in charge, almost all men at the time, didn't see the necessity. I remember one principal saying that would "encourage promiscuity." WTF???
Walz wants pads and tampons to be free to Medicaid recipients, noting that they're a medical necessity. Misogynistic MAGA has repeatedly shouted him down.

My next door neighbor's mom taught at a local junior high, 1959 etc. She told how the napkin machine was in the teachers' lounge, out in the open, not in their bathrooms. None in the student restrooms, of course. What crazy thinking back then. Probably my own mom as well, as tampons were never mentioned. Of course she also never brought up the subject anyway, just left a pamphlet about it in my drawer. I already knew, of course. Kids found out everything way before back then. Now also, I'm sure.

Yes. Duh. Walz didn't "order" it, as MAGA and its lying propaganda outlets state. He suggested it--knowing that some transgender students might be menstruating but using the boys' room.
Seems like nothing but a bit of common decency to me. But we all know how kerfuffled MAGA gets about transgender people.
I repeat that making this non-issue a pretext to mock Walz is crude and stupid and would shame a grade-schooler.
If men used tampons, then they wouldn't be the basis of crude jokes--their use would be a church sacrament.

There is no reason for tampons, a female product, to be in a mens/boys restroom. Womens and mens restrooms are gender specific - if born a male - you are a male. If born a female - you are a female. Restroom usage is gender specific. Walz had tampon dispensers installed in mens/boys restrooms which is why he was/is correctly labeled "Tampon Tim".
