No, stupid, in March, the Democrats agreed to a stopgap funding bill. They said the same thing as now, that they wanted to negotiate on Medicaid/Medicare cuts. They were assured by Trump lackeys that there would be negotiations.

But as the September expiration date (of the extension) loomed, the Turd commanded his slaves to NOT negotiate. That's why they all ran away last week.

The difference now is that the Democrats know that at the end of this new proposed stopgap, the same exact thing will happen.

Did you know, stupid Tom, that the Democrats said that they would approve this new stopgap bill if the Republipigs agreed to negotiate with them on the Medicare cuts, but the Republipigs said "NO!!"?

So who's to blame for the shutdown? Be honest, now!

The democrats want 2 add back in medical benefits that were covid related & set to expire this year. 

Eligibility is being cut back so that people making multiple times the poverty rate aren't eligible. 

COVID is over
