Here's the difference. Trumpers hate people because of what they are--black, Hispanic, Muslim, immigrants, etc. etc. etc. I loathe Trumpers because of what they say and do. For the record, I also loathe Nazis. pedophiles, murderers, and traitors.

But do I "hate" Trumpers? No, not really--any more than I "hate" a pile of rotting garbage or an overflowing sewer. I do, however, hate anyone who advocates taking away the rights and freedoms (DING! this is your cue to say something like "libs are trying to take away our guns!!!") of others, or who judges others as less worthy of human rights because of their race, ethnicity, country of origin, religion, or sexual orientation.

Actually, we speak ill of the dead all the time, if they were evil and/or committed great crimes. Trump will eminently qualify when he eventually deprives us of his presence.

Also, we're not gonna have Dorothy flogged for singing, "Ding, Dong, the Witch is Dead," are we?

Poor old DonDiego voted for Mr. Trump over Mrs. Clinton.

He did so for two reasons (not necessarily in the order listed):

 i. He favors policies which align with traditional conservatism over liberal-ever-growing-government-expansion.

ii. He opines Mrs. Clinton is a despicable human being.

Presumedly, Kevin Lewis now hates poor old DonDiego.   Surprisingly, poor old DonDiego is not trembling.

What kind of human being do you think Donald Trump is?

I don't know DonDiego well enough to hate him. However, as he does seem to have a modicum of intelligence, so rare in Trumpers, I do pity him.

I do wonder, though, if DonDiego or any other moderately sane conservative could explain to me exactly what's wrong with government. Places without government (like, for example, Somalia) are pretty shitty places to live.

I also thought that "traditional conservatism" involved fiscal responsibility; yet, Trump is running up huge deficits to pay for his tax breaks for the rich and choking off trade (and I also thought that the Republicans styled themselves as the party of free trade).

And if you consider Hillary Clinton to be despicable but not Donald Trump, well, you have a bizarre logic and distorted moral compass by which to evaluate people. Unless it's so simple that you hate her because she's an uppity WOMAN.

Lewie, you really should have prepared for life better than you did.
