He insists the 2020 election was stolen--I mean, how else do you explain that other than a brainwashed idiot?
There are times when I think this is all playacting on his part--because as you say, only an idiot would believe the nonsense he spews. And while he's a scumbag asshole, he's not an idiot and is actually capable of having a rational discussion and refraining from insulting people and calling them liars (judging by his posts on other LVA forums, though those do contain occasional assholery).
It could very well be that due to his isolation and loneliness (which, let me be clear, is his own goddamn fault, due to the way he treats people), he simply craves diversion and amusement and somehow obtains it here by posting stupid dogshit and then attacking and insulting anyone who expresses disagreement.
It's not exactly a unique phenomenon. I suspect that maybe half of the MAGA morons/the 75 million don't believe any of the Trumpy bullshit themselves, but are titillated and stimulated by the pain and conflict it all causes. Some people not just like, but crave fights.

I would say that believing the 2020 election was stolen--in the absence on any evidence--is pretty much the definition of "brain dead."
