It all makes sense now!
1) Trump is on a horrid, stupid crusade to undo everything Biden did. This includes admitting Afghanis who had helped the US--so they wouldn't be killed by the Taliban.
2) The shooter was a trained CIA operative and is very used to taking covert orders. He doubtless has been told that if called upon to resume that role, he must obey.
3) The random way he chose his targets indicates that he was simply told to shoot as many NG members as possible.
4) The plan was obviously to kill him after he was done shooting, but he survived.
5) The Turd now has a pretext to revoke Afghanis' citizenship--whether or not he has the legal authority to do so. He's now claiming that every single Afghani--even babies--is a terrorist.
6) And of course, he badly wants a distraction from all the things he caused that are going wrong. Nobody is buying his braggadocio about "his" bigly wonderful economy any more. And the scandals are multiplying like roaches.
7) This also is a pretext to move more National Guard trash pickup specialists into DC.
