"Brink of surrender"? What's your evidence that they were close to surrendering?
And if they were on such a "brink," why did he back off? Why didn't he finish the job, if it was so close to completion?
Those who didn't want a war with Iran weren't "afraid" of it. They thought, correctly, that it would be horribly expensive, would disrupt the world economy, and would ultimately be pointless.
MAGA propaganda dismisses those concerns by accusing those who oppose the war of being "cowards."
Not wanting war doesn't make someone a coward. On the contrary, it means that such a person prefers diplomacy to violence as a way to solve problems.
Now devolve to calling me a liar, obtuse, suffering from TDS, blah blah blah, as you always, always, always do. You literally cannot help yourself. But after you do, maybe you should drop your "I love Trump and everything he does is wonderful" facade and honestly consider whether Trump's war is a good thing.
I'm talking to you like a reasonable human being. Please fulfill my expectations by making me regret it.
