The debate also harmed Trump

  President Trump did not need to really say or do anything - Biden's record since he took office and Biden's pathetic display of his ineptitude and his lack of cognizance spoke volumes that even die hard liberals and DemocRats could not ignore. The rest of the world saw what an inept leader America has and they have made their feelings known. If President Trump had of done anything, the lying media would have accused him of piling on and made that an issue. President Trump let Biden hang himself.

In addition to Trump's outright lies, there were all the stupid hyperbolic statements like "He's the worst President in the history of America ," and "There was almost no illegal immigration when I was President" (and no, I didn't bother to check if I'm exactly quoting the Turd; you know what I'm referring to). He pitched a TON of that idiot shit in addition to his outright lies. And then there were the grossly misleading statements like "Illegals are raping and killing Americans" (no doubt, SOME of them have, but...). Add it all up and 80% of the stuff that came out of his mouth was bullshit.

And you know what? I listened to a couple of focus groups this morning, including one that was only Republican voters. They concur that Trump's bluster, boasting, and lying subtracted heavily from whatever advantage he gained from Biden's poor performance. A LOT of people said things like "I don't think Biden's up to the job, but I'm sure as hell not voting for that jerk Trump." 

And yeah, as I said before, Trump could have scored a crushing win, maybe even a fatal blow, simply by NOT acting like a complete jerk. But maybe he is literally incapable of acting otherwise. He blew it by engendering sympathy for Biden--many people don't like bullies.

Trump's lies, many of them so egregious that they were simply stupid, his hyperbole, his mean and cruel rhetoric, his crude, bullying manner, and his utter uncouth all add up to a complete lack of mental competency. No person like him should EVER hold high office. Never.

I do realize that all of the above behavior makes him your hero.

       You are so full of it - 99% of the stuff that comes out of your mouth is bullshit. Spin it any way you want - and you will - President Trump spoke the truth - and you can not handle it. Keep on listening to the biased liberal groups, it will not change the result of the next election.

"They say I'm the best, simply the best at xxx."  They say xxx xxx.......who the hell is "they"?  He loses all credibility with statements like that and just comes off as plain stupid if you ask me.  Basically the mentality of an 8 year old.  And a very dumb one at that.  

"I just got done winning two events at my club".......who the hell is playing?  3 year olds?  

And I'm barely scratching the surface with Trump.  It is just blustering idioticy.

And onto Biden.  My God, the man cannot handle any number whatsoever.  Billions, millions, trillions.....he has no idea what he is talking about.  He loses his train of thought mid-sentence.  I feel bad for him and literally despise his shit-for-brains wife for not stepping in.  

I'm not going to fact check everything they said.  I already know 75% of it is bullshit.  And this is what the American public should watch?  People are only watching because it is a train wreck waiting to happen.  Total shit-show.

Spot on, Jerry.  Well said.   I believe "they", are his family or possibly his MAGA followers.  It's disappointing that these are the two candidates we have to choose from.  With over 350 million people, you'd think we'd have better choices for the leader of our country.

Jerry, any direct interference from Jill Biden would have gotten the whisperers ginned up to a fever pitch. She would have utterly sabotaged him. I realize that he did that himself--but at the time, it would have been premature at the very least; overstepping her bounds, certainly.

The reason to fact check both of them is for comparison purposes. Now, listen carefully. Davey Dog and some of our other tiny-brained folk call everyone they disagree with liars. But they do so without even knowing what a lie actually is. A lie has to have at least two components: it has to be false; the teller of the lie has to be aware that it's false; and usually in addition, the statement has to have been made with the intent to deceive.

Now, based on that definition, how often did Trump lie, and how often did Biden lie? I'm NOT referring to simply getting stuff wrong. I'm referring to deliberately false statements. Biden's mistakes were mostly that--mistakes. Dumb ones, perhaps. Trump's false statements were deliberate acts. He KNEW he wasn't telling the truth.

To me, the difference is huge. It's like Grandpa telling you he served in Korea in 1949, and Grandma telling you that she won the Miss Kansas contest in 1949. Grandpa got the year wrong. Grandma is simply full of shit, and is hoping you won't check.

Or to put it another way, I see no malevolence in Biden. I see nothing BUT malevolence in Trump. So they're far from equivalent, or equivalent choices. Take the incompetent man over the evil one, if it comes to that.

But the fallacy is to, because they're both lousy candidates, consider them to be equivalent. That couldn't be further from the truth. If you abdicate your responsibility, the by far the worse of the two candidates wins, and millions of people will suffer and even die.

I have a responsibility to my children, friends, and relatives to stop the Trump nightmare from happening, to the extent that I'm able to. You have the same responsibility. If that entails voting for a Biden you don't like, so be it. It still beats the crap out of the alternative.

And please don't dismiss my warning as hyperbole. The danger is imminent; the danger is real; the consequences will be horrible.

Just to name one of many awful outcomes, I don't want to see millions of brown people rounded up, beaten, and herded into concentration camps. To name another, I don't want to see doctors imprisoned because they performed an abortion to save a woman's life. I don't want to see a judge arrested because he passed sentence on a Jan. 6 rioter. And I don't want the price of every imported good to double because some orange moron thinks tariffs are a swell idea.

We are actually in agreement on a lot of stuff here.  What I mean with Jill is......she should have stepped in a long ago. (not during or right before the debate)  And she disgustingly doubled-down at the after parties with it.  She is with the man every day and it is literally her duty to protect him.  Is she really putting politics or her status above that?  Incredibly sad if so and that appears to be the case.   

Joe was a habitual liar in his younger days but now he doesn't have the ability.  He can barely stick to the company lines he is supposed to memorize.  They get jumbled in his head and he starts spitting out the wrong line when he gets "stuck."  

For Trump it is just his character in general for me.  He is just purely a POS.  Did you hear when he boasted about firing that General?  The guy gets off on firing people.  He probably fired tons of good people during his 4 years as POTUS that were doing a good job.  Who wants that?  You disagree with the emporer and you get fired.  How is that good for anybody?  

Put all poltics aside for one minute on this forum......why can't both parties just can both of these idiots for very different reasons and put up some competent people?  Rewrite the rules around it.  Do what is right!
