Decent article here.

Agree with all of that David.  Trust me, I just kind of know what different professions make as a CPA.  Teachers with their 4 months off a year are pretty low on the financial food chain.  The B in BLAM is definitely deserved.  I'd bet my life on it.  It's yet another reason for the LAM part.  He scrounges around Vegas playing coupons and $0.25 FPDW for $7 an hour and then birches about the evil casinos and their greed.  I rest my case. The good thing for old BLAM is he is taking advantage of the government system and probably has a fat undeserved pension awaiting him.  Guys like me don't need that crutch.

Let's see...the "CPA" is leveling what he believes is devastating criticism at me for...playing winning video poker...and earning a pension. An actual CPA would realize the value of those things.

But he's no more a CPA than I'm an astronaut.

One again, I've gotten under BLAM's skin.  Just like I did when I set him off and getting him suspended for a week.  Pretty weak-minded broke guy.  Yeah, you have millions and play quarter single line video poker.......nobody on this board is naive enough to believe that.  LOL

LOL, you are so right                                                       1

Ha. Don't give yourself so much credit, Mister Fake CPA.

I've encountered many other people in my life who get their rocks off by "getting under people's skin." What a noble goal in life, to be an annoying jerkwad. I amuse myself by interacting with these folks because I'm truly interested in what horrible trauma--doubtless from childhood--transformed them from human beings into what they are today.

I've figured out what's wrong with this guy. He's lost tens of thousands in the casinos by playing ignorantly and stupidly. So he likes to attack people who win. A genuine CPA wouldn't be a huge lifetime loser, like Jerry, because CPAs understand money and numbers.

Here's something he can't comprehend: I never claimed to be a millionaire, but I'm well off precisely because when I gamble for fun, I play positive EV games, regardless of the stakes. Losers like Jerry the Fake CPA get drunk and stuff thousands into slot machines.

BTW, Anthony Curtis is an advantage player, so maybe Jerry would like to make some snide remarks about him.

I'm actually an advantage player too BLAM but I play much bigger stakes than quarter single line.  Real name is not Jerry obviously and I'm not going to tell you the bigger EV values if you don't see them when they pop up here and there on your own.  I'm up plenty lifetime in Vegas in VP and I'm just a tourist like you are.  Now true, a lot of that EV is really drying up as you know.  I tend to just do VP when better EV deals are happening out there or I stick to poker.  (Poker is really all numbers and %'s obviously)  Everybody knows on the face of just pure VP machines alone that quarter FPDW is the best game by itself but at quarter level it is almost pointless and boring and you won't get much in terms of comps for it. I have no problem talking gambling with you.

I don't care if you believe I'm a CPA or not but I don't continuously lie like you do on this board.  I have no reason to lie.  I only attack you when you are attacking others to give you a taste of your own medicine.

Then your attacks are lies; you don't really mean what you say and you're just trying to mete out your personal twisted form of "justice."

I know what your beliefs are. I know how those beliefs dominate you. I know they elicit your shameful behavior. I see nothing at all original in that.

It IS hilarious, though, that you make gratuitous attacks on me to show me that making gratuitous attacks is wrong.

As far as VP and AP are concerned, yes, obviously, there always have been even better plays than .25 VP. But I stopped pursuing them some time ago when taking trips to Vegas was too time-consuming an activity, now that I was teaching full time. When I visit now--2-3 times a year--I play for fun.
