I have been playing around with this AI and I am just blown away. It works as well as or better than in some

cases of the premium versions of chatGPT, Gemini and so on. And it was created with low end chips because America isn't allowed to sell the high end AI chips to China. 

I am sure our Politicians both Republicans and Democrats will be coming out shortly to ban this from the US under the guise of national security when in reality it will be to keep our tech bros from having to compete with China.  

Ask deepseek questions that are anti china and you get a vague or no answer. 

A good commie like mark has no problem with the china government getting people's data because they are such responsible people.

Tom, call me old fashioned but I believe a free market needs competition to thrive. We aren't thriving because there is a lack of competition in a high number of our industries. Prices come down when there is more competition.

Odd that you weren't upset Facebook gave our data away to the Russians. That's not theory. That is fact unlike the claims about the Chinese getting your data.   What Mark overlooks is that President Trump recognized months ago the importance of embracing A I technology - he is right once again. Remember, the brain dead Biden administration did nothing about A I technology the past 4 years - now that is is mainstream, it is President Trumps fault... China has been waging economic warfare against the USA for decades, its part of their 100 year plan.  Unfortunately, our country can't plan much longer than 4 years so they are ahead of us in certain areas.  However, they are thieves and usually any technological leaps they may have are usually stolen ideas, directly from western countries.

I wouldn't believe for a second they created this with a stack of bitcoin mining rigs and a bucket of rice.  More likely they stole most of the IP and also shipped in thousands of nvidia cards illegally and then created some kind of frankenstein AI model and dropped it on the world to impact our markets.
