Dem senator first to publicly say he doesn’t think Biden can win

Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., appeared on CNN Tuesday evening, confirming reports that he admitted to colleagues he doesn’t believe President Biden can win the presidential election. Bennet’s comments effectively make him the first Democratic senator to say publicly that Biden will lose. “Donald Trump is on track, I think, to win this election, and maybe win it by a landslide and take with him the Senate and the House,” Bennet said. “And so for me, this isn't a question about polling. It's not a question about politics. It's a moral question about the future of our country.”

I agree with his comments.

Bennet is right on point

Sorry, anybody can make a prediction. That a prediction seems possible doesn't elevate it to a certainty.

The doom-and-gloom hand-wringers seem to forget that Trump shat himself during the debate and appalled at least as many people as Biden did. The only reason that his behavior didn't raise more eyebrows is that it was expected--a known asshole being an asshole.

The Democrats are pretending that Trump's myriad massive liabilities don't matter. They do. He's not even all that attractive to the MAGAs any more. What's ACTUALLY coming is one of the lowest turnouts in election history. A lot of people will just stay home. And that's the real danger, because the fewer people vote, the better the RepubliQ do.

So rather than sweating Biden's mental condition, etc., the Democrats should focus on turnout. They need to emphasize that the task is to defeat Trump. Who defeats him, or what shape he's in, means less than nothing. What must not happen is an evil asshole assuming the role of king, with unlimited power.

In other words, we need to vote for not-Trump. Whoever and whatever that means.

It'll be easier without Biden

Democrats should focus on doing something for the country instead of freaking out about Trump 24/7. Amazing the damage he has caused to the little minds across the country. Just gotta laugh at it.

There's the CHIPs Act and the Infrastructure bill, both of which I support, and the Senate passed an immigration bill but the Republican Congress didn't want to bring it to the floor.

Back in 2013, Senator Bennet was part of the Gang of 8 that passed a huge immigration bill, 4 Democrats and 4 Republicans created the bill, the 4 Republicans included Marco Rubio and Lindsay Graham. The Republican-controlled House under Speaker Boehner never brought the bill to the floor, so it died. The Republicans continue to freak out about immigration, maybe they should focus on doing something about it instead of freaking out.

I'm thinking are doing something about it...I'm pretty sure you'll notice Jan. 2025.

Hopefully it's not temporary executive orders, like Trump did last time. Pass legislation, which he's not very good at.

Although I hope he doesn't make it back to the White House.

That's kind of my point. We need to focus on defeating Trump, not how well Biden gives a speech. It SHOULD be equally easy to beat him no matter what

Tell me--hiw many people will, IN ACTUALITY, switch from voting for Biden to voting for Trump because they think Biden is too old?

None.

Why do I say that? Because if someone was concerned with a candidate's age and mental fitness...they wouldn't vote for Trump, either  Trump is old, shits himself, and babbles. He's no more up to the job than Biden is.

So given this choice, oeople should vote for the good guy
