I agree with Mark and my senator Michael Bennet. Far too many voters will sit out the election or just not vote for president.
And anybody who contributes to Trump winning by sitting it out because "Biden is old" deserves the horrible fate that they will experience. I'm just pissed that I will share that fate.
Would it be better if Biden withdrew? Of COURSE. But an even worse outcome is that we all run around like chickens with their heads cut off until we finally accept that Biden, for better or worse, is the candidate, and a funding-starved Democratic party is out of both time and money to fend off Trump.
If there's one advantage that the Republiholes have, it's party unity. That isn't exactly an admirable quality when you consider who and what they've unified behind, but it does make them more effective than the Democrats, who are constantly crippled by infighting--and yes, I know that the RepubliQ have been unified by banishing or killing their dissenters. It's a sad truth writ small--in human history, in the short run, at least, dictatorships have always been able to outfight democracies. That's because they don't have to spend time gathering a consensus or getting approval. The RepubliQ dictatorship is winning over the Democrat democracy. The only cure is for us to unify.
Or, we could bleat about Biden every day and night until November 5. Let's see how that works.
