DemocRats are Getting Crushed Across the Nation

  Brutal

It's early yet (7 pm MST). from a national perspective. Some of the critical congressional seats might not be called for several days (eg PA, Ohio, etc.). We'll see if this early observed trend continues. I'm hopeful, though.

There will be a LOT of negative noise from the lying liberal lefties here - it won't matter. MAGA!

Despite David's melodramatic lies, it's going pretty much as predicted: the Republiscum are going to win control of the House, and the Senate will stay 50-50, if current trends continue.

Interestingly, Nevada may be the decider. It wouldn't be if there weren't so many complete fucking idiots who voted for dumb as a box of rocks Herschel Drooler. Georgia is going to take a while to be official.

The Republiscum aren't doing nearly as well in governors' races.

The outcome you're hoping for, I can't help but be reminded of the adoring crowds cheering Hitler's successful election bid. As you know, there were no more elections after that. So wave that torch, Charles!

As I posted a few days ago, I'm not that bothered if your Republipigs win. Two years of gridlock will follow, as your gang demonstrates just how little they give a damn about making people's lives better and how much they want to repay their corporate donors. Nothing egregious will make it past the filibuster/Biden. And just wait until the Republipigs shut down the government! That'll go over well!

And 2024 will be a crushing Democratic victory, the degree of which will be determined by whether Trump is nominated or loses the nomination and forms a third party.

So two cheers for your gang, Charles! Sieg Heil!

More insultive overkill from your perch, particularly with the Sieg Heil stuff. That just doesn't apply to my outlook or perspective whatsoever..no relativity to the truth. But, that's your game. BTW, the R's haven't won the Senate majority races..as of roughly 9:30 MST..it's beyond tight. So, I'm not arming my Panzers just yet.

Republicans will retake the Senate, they now control the House. Stacey Abrams has conceded.

You're missing the point. I think that you're not really on board with the Republipig "Let's destroy democracy" shtick. As I've said, that makes your fealty to them both puzzling and shameful. Forgive me for (over-)using this comparison, but many good people who sincerely thought Hitler would be good for their country voted for him. Not all Nazi supporters were evil fucks. Quite the contrary.

However, you are better informed than they were. Therefore, your guilt is greater. Your gang has made it abundantly clear that if they win, they will seek to do evil things. Maybe you think that it's OK, because they're the party of business and everyone's bank account/stock portfolio will get fatter if they win. You wouldn't be the first person to vote based on your rice bowl. But if you have any sort of moral compass, that should generate some of the cognitive dissonance I mentioned.

It looks, at this point, like Georgia may go to Warnock, but the big question is whether he gets to 50%. This might be a rerun of when Senate control wasn't decided until a runoff election. Warnock would win if the Libertarian candidate was booted from the contest. So now we go into the Republipig complaining about so-called election fraud phase.

Unlike you, I'm not stupid enough to predict the outcome. Especially when no one else is doing so.

That destroy democracy charge emerged directly from the DNC campaign committees, and surfaced prominently as a public campaign argument from the D candidates within the past three to four weeks during a time when the routinely wrong polling data was suggesting a so-called 'red wave'. If you've supported that position all along, that's your choice.

What is ' democracy' and how do you define it? A condensed description might be a government system that is representative of the entire citizen population of the country and one in which all voices regardless of party affiliation are heard via free and fair elections. I'm supportive of such a system and that description..sans corruptive influence.

They just called Fetterman the winner in PA..over Oz (assuming no kerfuffles). So currently, the Senate

situation is largely down to Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia (with a potential runoff in Georgia on the current horizon as you suggested), outside any additional unanticipated race surprises.

I say let it play out and let the chips fall where they may. We can alternately try to piss over cars after the outcome is truly known.
