DemocRATs Have Really Screwed Themselves With Their Shutdown of the Government

Republicans fled town.  It is on them.  You can't work out a deal if the other party isn't there to negotiate. 

  The Republicans were there for the vote today. If the corrupt DemocRATs had not of filibustered this action , it could/would have been completed weeks ago. So don't come with that weak ass, lame excuse. The DemocRATs voted NO today - and now the government is shut down.

The problem is Republicans are unwilling to negotiate and they fled town because they don't want to negotiate. If Trump wants Democratic votes,  he has to offer something. What has Trump offered 

David? So, it is entirely on the Republicans.

It is the same spending extension that the democrats voted on in March.  What changed was that the democrats added in additional spending at the last moment .  Nothing to negotiate.

They have already lost 3 votes and 2 more are wavering.

Remember when the democrats said there is no reason to shut the govt down.

Agreed both major parties are at fault for our current problems. I don't think much can change without a serious revamp of our monetary system, government funding methods, and general economic policy. Unfortunately the keynesians are still in control despite their obvious failings.
