In the 14 months of Turd Disaster II, Democrats have flipped 28 seats so far in state legislatures. That includes in reeking deep-red shitholes such as Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, and Iowa.
Exit polls are consistently showing that skyrocketing cost of living is voters' number one concern. The American electorate is very intolerant of that. Of course, "Bidenflation" wasn't his fault--it was a worldwide phenomenon. But this time around, people know that it's all Trump's fault, with his Turdiffs and multiple wars.
So what does Dear Leader do? He bleats that "affordability is a hoax." The horrible motherfucker has never had to worry about paying bills, affording groceries, etc. in his entire scumbag life. He dismisses the concerns of American consumers because he simply doesn't understand them.
And then what does he do? He starts a war that is choking off one fifth of the world's supply of oil. Gas prices are skyrocketing. And he has no plan and no way to end the war. Of course, he's announced that he won on Day One. But nobody believes his shit any more, though of course his puppets and lackeys continue to barf out supportive lies.
