Democrats Raking In Record Donations

Yesterday, was the biggest fundraising haul of 2024 for Democrats.

Meanwhile, Republicans are 😢 in their beer because they successfully convinced Biden to drop out.

Like I said, it was an "own goal" on their part. And the assassination attempt helped the Democrats, too--it soldified the Republiholes and elevated Trump's standing in their pea brains. So it just made the alarm bells louder. It was so effective, I suspect that the Republiholes paid the shooter, and told him to miss. They probably left out the part about his head being immediately blown off, though that was the idea. Dead men tell no tales.

Today, they're feverishly revving up the attack ads. Over the next few weeks, we'll hear how Harris is the Antichrist and is responsible for inflation, covid, bird flu, and starting WWII. There will be thinly veiled attacks on her race and gender. And of course, there will be a diarrheal flood of the usual anti-immigration lies. (John Oliver's latest segment colorfully illustrates the nature of those Republihole lies. If you don't have HBO, it'll be available on YouTube on Thursday.) They'll try to sell the story that Harris was given total control of border policy, but she let them trillions of filthy Messkins in anyway, because she's a left-wing radical liberal commie belch grunt snort. Of course, she had no power to make policy or write and enact new regulations.

I don't know how much difference it makes to be well funded, but that new money will sure buy a lot of air time. I hope they hammer and hammer and hammer on Trump, expose Project 2025 for what it is, and emphasize that Harris will protect women's rights. The Republiholes will have no counter other than to keep trying to gin up anger and fear.

Let's take this opportunity to wipe that cult and its leader from the face of the earth once and for all.

The good news is that none of those attacks will have time to stick.

The Republican playbook is to put out years of negative messaging about people they see as future Democratic nominees. That's why we had three years of sleepy joe, 20+ years of crooked Hillary and so on. 

Republicans have to play the long game to win. They have no short game and that is why they are all shitting their pants today.

Democrats do best when their candidates don't have a narrative that was pre-defined by the conservative media over the course of several years. Think Obama in 2008. 

That is what Republicans are dealing with now. They don't have years to invest in setting up a negative narrative about Harris.

We'll hear a lot of feverish if feeble attempts to craft an attack narrative, though. Like maybe how Harris didn't return a library book when she was seven years old, or how her third cousin twice removed, who served two years in prison for drug possession, taught her to be a commie. It'll all be the signature RepubliQ cocktail of nasty and stupid.

If Harris starts to poll well--and I expect she will--there just might be some RepubliQ efforts to get rid of Trump. I hope not, or if so, that those efforts don't succeed. Harris will wipe the floor with Donny Diaper.
