Not sure where you got this,  but I don't support any of those,  except number 10.  Not a fan of EVs.  You may like them,  Tom, but I'll just stay with my gas powered Silverado.  26 years old and still purrs like a kitten because I do the regular maintenance. 

I've never been a fan of Teslas, and I'm still not a fan. Will MAGA start buying them now or continue their juvenile gamesmanship of blocking Tesla chargers with their diesel trucks?

I do like EVs and you could say I am even a bit of a fan boy but I have always had reservations about Tesla.

There are certain core compentcies in automotive manufacturing that Tesla has never mastered such as fit and finish which leads to very high repair bills for minor collisions and very high insurance rates.  That is why you can buy your insurance directly from Tesla because it is likely you won't be able to afford to insure it otherwise. 

 They also have a safety record worse than the Ford Pinto. Why do you think Elon is gutting the regulators?

Anyway, I am big on BYD and what they are doing with EVs.  That is the automotive future at least in countries that believe in free markets and competition.

A fully loaded 15k car that is safe and inexpensive to own and operate would significantly lift the standard of living for so many Americans but we can't have that because Elon needed special government protection for his inferior vehicles.

I note to get those special protections Elon promised the government he was going to build a 25k EV and now that Trump has entered the picture Tesla canceled the promised 25k car and Elon says he was just kidding about that.  

Tesla has no new consumer products in their devlopment pipeline, their designs and batteries are dated, the Cyber Truck went up in flames literally and they won't even be making cars for consumers within the next ten years assuming they are still in business.

Elon told employees last year that if Tesla was going to prosper, it needs to drop the notion they are an automaker and go full steam ahead as a software developer for the Johnny Cab AI.

There are reasons Democrats are polling at historic lows and a record number have left the party.  There are reasons America voted for a "Convicted Felon".  Many Trump voters either believe the conviction was a political persecution orchestrated by the Biden administration or that classifying a payment as a "legal expense" that was made to your lawyer to get an NDA signed simply doesn't rise to the level of 34 felonies..   

Many of the items on Tom’s list are indeed supported by the Democrat politicians running the show in Washington DC.  But, they’re not your average everyday lifelong democrat voter like Edso. In the Democrat Party's rush to hate everything Trump, they've thrown out a lot of common sense that should be common ground.

Hey Edso, maybe it’s time to make the switch since you obviously disagree with a lot of what your party has been pushing.  If not to Republican, at consider going Independent!
