Democrats walk away empty after 42-day DHS standoff

The Senate sent a two-party Bi-Partisan bill to the House which the Republicans rejected.

People who lack a mounted Confederate Flag  on their truck can see the difference.    Thats not good news for David's Facebook butt buddies

Good advice--so, whose fault is it now for the continuing DHS shutdown?

We have a unanimously approved compromise agreed to by by 53 Republicans Senators and 47 Democrats.  The Republican Speaker refuses to call a vote on it in the House.  207 Democratic House members approve it and have signed a discharge petition to call a vote. Of course, it's the Democrats fault!?!?!?!?   But, are  you sure its's not Biden's fault?

David blaming the other side for something his gang could be doing but refuses to: is that hypocrisy, stupidity, or both?

David's headline is the exact opposite what happened.  Trump proved he could pay the TSA despite the shutdown and he was merely holding it hostage to try and get the Democrats to pass his awful Save Act.

Now, he has no leverage as the public pressure point has been removed. Why should Democrats vote to give ICE additional funding without the concessions they are asking for?

Yes, all of the above.

And just think: less than a year from now, the Republipigs will be the minority party in the House and maybe even the Senate. So perhaps they should realize that time isn't on their side?

I can see a total government shutdown in 2027 as the Turd refuses to sign any bills sent to him by a Democrat Congress and they lack the votes to override his veto.

I'd like to this opportunity to point out how wrong DM was on this issue.

Trump and MAGA Mike ended up completely surrendering. They got diddly squat as they decided to endorse and vote on the bipartisan Senate bill after they failed over and over again to get anything done on their own.

This was a big win for team blue.
