Dems make the right call in Tay-ucks-ass

France with its high income, employee and VAT taxes people still need to purchase private insurance in order to receive enough protection.

The US with its network is still better.

Last week I got 3 specilaized tests and an appointment with a specialist; all in the same day.

I disagree, everyone gets basic coverage in France.

What does you getting 3 test in one day have to do with anything?

France, by many reports, has high quality health care are with better outcomes at less cost than the US.

If you started from scratch to design a national Healthcare system, would you make it employer based?

When I was self-employed I paid $10,000/year for health insurance through my wife's employer. I am now with a large corporation and I pay $1,900/year. Does that make sense?

By the way, do you know the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the US is?

They still pay half what we do with better outcomes and nobody goes bankrupt with medical debt.

You have no experience with healthcare in other countries beyond what Sean Hannity tells you.   I guarantee you no French politician is running on the platform of swapping out their healtcare system for ours.

The first paragraph above is a Tom-lie. Everyone in France receives thorough coverage

The US is WORSE, as shown by poor life expectancy despite costs that are double those of France.

Your personal experience is irrelevant to this discussion, but anyone could tell you that getting specialized care on the day you ask for it is very rare.

Stupid Tom.

Anecdotes are not evidence.

Everyone in France receives thorough coverage

With all the taxes they pay 96% have private insurance.

https://www.franceassureurs.fr/wp-content/uploads/250916__franceassureurs_depliant-insurance-in-france_screen_a4.pdf

In France, approximately 96% of the population holds a complementary health insurance (CHI), which is a private insurance policy that provides partial reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by the public health insurance system. This indicates a significant level of private insurance coverage among French households.

Life expectancy is not a good stat for health care.

In the US there are more obesity, murders, suicides and auto deaths, none of which have anything to do with health care.

Cancer survival rates for the US exceed Europe which is a better indicator of care

How about ER wait time.  The US is #1 at 24 minutes. Canada & Britain is 2 hours and France is 2.5 hours.
