Candy, you rock.  David's post was an intentional action to hijack the thread. Nothing more. 

Candy - I posted what I posted because I am enjoying the "real time" movie that is happening in America. My post was not divisive. Those who took umbrage are the ones who esculated the temperature. You post what you want and I will post what I want. If you don't like my posts, then block me. I am tired of all of the disension brought to the Sink by those who look for any reason to attack another. When someone attacks a post I make, I will reply in kind. 

The definition of "movie" was explained to you. Then you snarled and pitched an insult.

Your post was political and had no place in what should have been an enjoyable non-political thread. And deny it all you want, but that post AND your subsequent actions have been extremely divisive.

You should lern to spel BTW. "Esculate"?? "Disension"? Makes you look even more stupid.

I don't expect you to acknowledge that you're in the wrong here, or that you come to the Sink to start arguments and insult people. I do understand the type of person you are. You're nothing new.

Now snarl at and insult me. You do have my pity, that you couldn't let go of your nasty argumentative persona for even one day. Your life must be nothing but pain and loneliness.

And...I know that your MAGA Trump-worship is just a facade, a mask you don to amuse yourself by starting arguments.

I was somewhat surprised, as Tom, who originated the thread, is David's ideological soulmate. But I suppose that when a dog craps on the lawn, it doesn't really consider the details, like whose lawn it is.

David - let me ask you a serious question.  Say I told you that I hung around Jeffrey Epstein and we got along great in the early 2000's.  Real buddy buddy we were.  Now say I said things about women that Trump has been caught saying.  What would you think about me?  

He won't answer you honestly. Unless David is a complete and utter scumbag--which we can't rule out--he would/should be appalled and disgusted at anyone bragging about sexually assaulting women. 

So let's theorize that David has a soul and a conscience--or vestiges thereof, at least. He couldn't very well say "it's all a witch hunt," since Trump was caught on tape. So he has to come up with some other rationalization. But what could that be? A rapist is a rapist. So as we've observed, David's only "defense" for his rapist-love is to attack his accusers(s).

Whatever oozes through his brain, it's a microcosm of how and why MAGA worships and obeys one of the most evil and disgusting humans to ever walk this earth. The psychopathology is kind of interesting as well as revolting.

David will now spew insults at us, as though that somehow absolves him.

No MAGA will ever admit that he worships a rapist/pedo/pervert. They get really antsy when you bring up the subject, because they can't blame it on liberals or a witch hunt or rigged voting machines. Therefore, they have to choose between pivoting/distracting and "counter attacking" with insults or stuff like, "What about Bill Clinton? HUH???"

I can pretty much understand MAGAs and even forgive them, since let's face it, they're not too bright, but I can't fathom why Trump's sex crimes and perversions don't turn them off. Aren't a significant portion of them pious holy rollers? Don't they turn on Fox Nooze only after singing hosannas on Sunday? We do have MAGA churches here, and I would love to attend one of their services and in the midst of the sermon, stand up and ask the priest if good Christians should worship a pedo.

Fun fact: at the height of covid, a shaman, er, priest in eastern Oregon told his congregation repeatedly that the pandemic was a liberal hoax and they shouldnt wear masks or observe social distancing. Out of 300 who were there one Sunday, 230 contracted covid and were hospitalized. MAGA + religion = DUHHHH.
