Its easy Tom...its a concept called "context". They teach kids in school about it right about the time they seperate them into the kids who learn to read from the ones who go on to take shop class.
When there's another convertsation in a long line of incidents surounding a white cop killing an unarmed black (like on this board) some people (like you) immediately and desperately try to change that conversation to all the black people who shot each other in Chicago.

If you could only solve one problem, which would you solve, the thousands of blacks killed by blacks or the handful of police shootings?

I just looked up stats on black on black murder.............FBI data.
In 2016, there were 2870 blacks killed, and the killer in 2570 of these murders was a black person . Ten are killed annually by police, and this is the topic of the year for Liberals.

Hey, stupido, since there are about six as many Whites as Blacks in America, shouldn't the number of unarmed Whites killed by the police be SIX times as many as unarmed Blacks killed, if policing was color-blind and racially unbiased?

The latter. Such "occasional" killings are in direct opposition to the supposed role of police as protectors of the public and enforcers of the law.
We give them guns and are very, very lenient when they use force for that reason--because we trust them to do what's right. When they fail at that, that tears a big hole in society.
"Blacks killed by other blacks" is a problem, sure, but we're never going to stop murders, White or Black. Therefore, talking about that is specious and irrelevant right now.
Unless you want to meaningfully discuss the income and other social disparities suffered by Black communitities that cause high crime rates.
