I can only imagine what the Democrats here would be saying if this Orwellian fantasy had come true under President Trump and he had appointed someone like Steven Miller or better yet Alex Jones to lead this bureaucracy.
And while a Democrat partisan hack who personally promoted politically driven disinformation now leads the DHS Disinformation Governance Board, DHS under the Biden regime has abdicated its responsibility to secure our southern border.

Our resident conservitards are upset that the harm that disinformation causes is finally being recognized and dealt with. And Charles is absolutely correct: that wouldn't have happened when Trump was President, since Trump's entire existence--and that of his servants, the RepubliQ--is based on disinformation. Disinformation got that asshole elected, and continues to drive the feeble brains of the "base."
And while we're at--how many people did anti-masking and anti-vaxxing disinformation kill?
In fact, you want "Orwellian," Trump created entire offices and departments devoted specifically to creating and disseminating disinformation. But Charles, etc. approve of that because the Orange Pusbag--well, he's their boy.

Lewis is correct about one thing - the harm that disinformation causes is finally being recognized - recognized by Americans who finally realize that the lying media and the corrupt DemocRats are the ones who have lied and continue to lie as the brain dead Biden socialist administration ruins America.
Last I checked, tRump told 35,000+ lies while in office, and the repugs in congress and senate continue to tell lies.
