I continue to do my part to keep the American economic engine running. The "hide in the basement folks" have caused this economic downturn and we are no where near the bottom. Disney is fully open for business in countries that shut down and have since reopened because their populations wear masks (Japan/France). Thats proven to be too much to ask from the QaNon patriots in the UNited States and their leader - hence our continued shutdown.

The layoffs affect Disney parks all over the world, so pj is wrong when he thinks it is only the US operations.
If any Disney park curtails its operations due to pandemic safety considerations, that's because they want to be responsible. To what extent they do so--complete shutdown, limited capacity, etc.---depends on the behavior of guests. Unfortunately, the US has too many Republican mask deniers for places like Disney World to be able to operate safely. No other country where Disney operates has to deal with fascist wannabe dictators telling their adoring followers that not wearing a mask is a sign of loyalty.

As usual Kevin is wrong. The only Disney Park not open is Disneyland in Ca. That is because the governor is keeping it closed.
The other parks don't have a mask problem as masks are mandatory for entrance.
