DNC Files Conspiracy And Racketeering Suit Against Trump Campaign And A Bunch Of Others

In addition to WikiLeaks and various Russian entities, the defendants in the lawsuit are: Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks; Donald J. Trump for President Inc.; Donald Trump Jr., the president’s son; Paul Manafort, his onetime campaign chairman; Roger Stone, a longtime friend of Mr. Trump; Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser; George Papadopoulos, a campaign aide; and Richard Gates, an associate of Mr. Manafort’s and the deputy campaign chairman.

“Rather than report these repeated messages that Russia intended to interfere with U.S. elections, the Trump campaign and its agents gleefully welcomed Russia’s help,” the lawsuit said. “Indeed, the Trump campaign solicited Russia’s illegal assistance, and maintained secret communications with individuals tied to the Russian government, including one of the intelligence agencies responsible for attacking the D.N.C.”

Someone was mentioning Racketeering here at the LVA just the other day.

This is a civil suit, not a criminal suit.  I think they saw the success Stormy Daniels attorney was having getting the Trump team all knotted up and decided they wanted in on the action.

Even some dems are saying what an idiotic lawsuit this is, what a complete joke SHEESH

I don’t see how.  A lot of the defendants have already pled guilty to committing crimes.  Aren’t the victims of their crimes entitled to compensation? Plus, getting to put these guys on the stand under oath has the potential to pay off huge dividends. The civil case against Nixon seemed to work out for the Democrats.

The DNC that refused to turn over their servers to the FBI to see who might have actually hacked them? That DNC? The DNC that hired people to contact operatives in the Kremlin to create a phoney dossier (actual collusion with Russians to try to interfere with a US Presidential election)? That DNC? The DNC that fed Clinton debate questions prior to a debate with Trump to try to interfere with a US Presidential election? That DNC? The DNC that sat silent while Obama knew Russians were using social media for political purposes, because some of those groups were not only attacking Trump, they were organizing anti-Trump protests prior to the election? That DNC? The DNC is not only morally bankrupt, their bank accounts are in the same boat. They need money. It looks like the Clinton Foundation money has vanished into thin air, and Soros might be getting a bit tired of throwing money away on them...

What bob said. Completely diotic and is only embaressing for the DNC.

No, what is embarrassing is when Trump does a call into Fox And Friends and rants like a paranoid meth addict about the FBI being out to get him until the hosts cut him off. You know when he admits things like he has been lying for months by casually confessing oh, yeah, Cohen represented me on this Stormy Daniels thing. Or he says things like he didn't buy his wife a birthday present, so her present will be him calling into Fox and Friends.

The "idiotic" DNC did the same exact thing the last time a president fired the people investigating his alleged crimes.....

and the rhetoric from the other side was largely the same.

But dont worry, right-wingers.  You'll always have Bengazhi.
