I don't know if Tara is telling the truth, but the issue is how it has been handled as compared to Judge Kavanaugh.
When it came to Judge Kavanaugh, the liberals & the media nonstop demanded that he immediately withdraw his nomination & he was guilty until proven innocent.
But with Biden it took a month to gain any traction & now the liberals demand equal protection & innocent until proven guilty.

Tom, that is my point of my original post. During the first month after Kavanaugh was accused, Ford's name was mentioned 1,898 times by CNN, and MSNBC mentioned her name 1,878 times. In contrast, in the first month after the after Biden was accused, Read's name was mentions 15 times on CNN, and 10 times on MSNBC". Our resident Liberals tells us that we Conservatives only imagine how the agenda driven liberal media covers this stuff. Liberals should feel silly for following media with such an abvious bias.
Kevin confirms that Kavanaugh's coverage was more extensive because he was nominated for a very important job.

Kavanaugh's accuser testified under oath before the Republican-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee. Biden's accuser won't even appear on Fox News.
And Biden's accuser has a history of changing her story, stealing from charities, and setting up bogus GoFundMe accounts, and accusing at least five people of harassment. Kavanaugh's accuser not so much.
Yeah, I notice a REAL difference.

Kavanaugh was in confirmation hearings and would be confirmed or not within a couple of weeks.
Biden hasn't even been nominated yet and the election won't be for six months.
Even if you consider the allegations against both men to be of equal weight (which is quite a stretch), it's kind of obvious why the media isn't lapsing into hysterics about Biden. One, the election is six months away. Two, the Trump virus is kinda sorta taking up a lot of media attention; there was no equivalent global crisis during the Kavanaugh nomination.
That's why the degree of media coverage is different, Tom. But you're welcome to think it's all about the biases of the no-good liberal media if that gets you off.
