Indeed I strongly doubt and refute that they're crashing SS on purpose, and that SS benefits will be reduced by 25% by year's end. That's a typically espoused false narrative from the left and I disagree. I'd wager against it. There's already a 2.5% cost of living adjustment in effect for 2025.
The left won't exercise any patience regarding SS fraud discovery and / or elimination. Surprise..they've located some very significant dollar value waste / fraud patterns in the SS process milieu...been around a long time. Why wouldn't we want to reduce these wasteful practices regardless of political affiliation? Dipshits scurry to leap off assorted cliffs.
Another fact is SS truly is the third rail of government provisions despite the fact that same government can't seem to historically keep their hands off any surpluses in the SS trust fund. Our inept congress needs to pass a law preventing the pilfering of these surplus funds that began during Reagan's time ( look it up). Touching SS benefits is political suicide and genuinely represents thievery. Granted there are lots of misguided and erroneous aspects within the entire SS system processes that we can bemoan but there are roughly 80 million citizens / voters who've paid into this bad system their entire working lives and now depend on it for latter years survival... they've earned more than they actually receive. Sure everybody's aware of that latter scenario but there are those that will lead us down veiled pigtrails pushing the narrative that they're going to blow it all up. I strongly doubt it and disagree.
