DOGE fires nuclear weapons adminstrators

Whoops !   We accidentally fired all the people in charge of administrating the country's nuclear weapon supply.     Our bad !    Just another day of dipshittery in the Trump Administration and their keystone cops.

DOGE doesnt know who they are firing or what they do. Big deal, right?

"The National Nuclear Safety Administration is now dealing with the repercussions of this "massive mistake", which has raised security concerns, as per reports. Insiders confided to CNN that the workers were let go because "no one had taken any time to understand what we do and the importance of our work to the nation's national security".

Around 400 NNSA staff at the Energy Department were reportedly axed as part of Musk's government cost-cutting initiatives, under presidential orders. Another source disclosed to CNN that Congress is "freaking out" over the fact that DOGE seemed unaware that the NNSA is in charge of the nuclear stockpile."

Fired on Thursday, rehired on Friday. Musk said some mistakes will happen, as this was, but immediate action was taken to rectify this issue. Other than being fired, nothing else happened though PJ's favorite source, MSNBC, is trying to make a big deal about this mistake. Was this a good thing? - No. Was it immediately rectified? - Yes. Those fired were administrators in charge of the nuclear stockpile- paper shufflers who in no way have anything to do with the actual usage of nuclear weapons.

PJ and all Liberals tell us that they have no idea what Musk is doing, yet PJ assures us that he knows what Musk is doing.  This dumb shit really should stop...but it won't

I have zero problem with someone looking into how the government is spending "our" money.  You know, the $ that comes out of every stinking paycheck since we started working at 16 years old or earlier.  Nobody should have a problem with those audits.  If you do, you really have to do some soul searching.  The govt has no problem auditing us afterall.

Those screaming the loudest should be scrutinized the most - a good place to start is all congressional DemocRats, Govenors, Mayors and "elected" officials throughout all "Blue" states.

Sorry, but folks have no idea the chaos such actions cause for a lot of employees, supervisors, HR people, timekeepers, etc.   To think that just anybody, and Musk is just anybody as far as firings etc., can get away with this.  Ditch the DOGE is my vote, which will count for nothing, but that's my opinion until I hear of some sanity in the so-called efficiency process.

I have no problem with any good faith effort to legitimately find waste, fraud and abuse in the government.

Its just that "good faith" part I really question.

Do you see USAID on the pie chart below?  Me neither.  Its some tiny fraction of 1% of our budget.   But that was Elon Musks first order of business for finding waste/fraud/ and abuse.   Oh, and coincidentally that agency was suing one of his companies.    Rinse and repeat for the CFBP which was to have oversite of his new personal finance component on X.   Rinse and repeat for the FAA that grounded his space launches.

If you think there is anything being done in good faith with this effort you are smoking some seriously good shit.

ELon bought himself access to the government so he can shut down the parts of it regulating his businesses.

25 years ago, Indiana governor Mitch Daniels cut 18% of the Indiana State workforce.  We were assured the sky would fall.  Not even close.  The federal government could use a 50% hair cut.

Don't worry.  They are heading the the Pentagon soon, and that's where they will find the most waste.
