DOGE fires nuclear weapons adminstrators

Don't worry.  They are heading to the Pentagon soon, and that's where they will find the most waste.  BTW, your argument strongly supports the Musk argument.  Within a teeny tiny portion of the government, Musk has found a hundred billion in waste.  What until he gets to the big stuff.

How much waste do you think Elon is going to find with his contracts.

The NY Times just found that the State Dept was going to give him 400 million dollars for armored Teslas.

Elon didnt find that - the NY Times did.    The State Dept quickly deleted that line item from their budget shortly thereafter.

Maybe we should put the NY Times in charge of DOGE.

Of course the NYT failed to mention the contract was approved during Biden's administration.

Keep reading your skewed propaganda.  You clearly can't think for yourself.  I bet you waved a Ukrainian flag at your house too.

So were the DEI contracts.     But I guess waste/fraud/abuse is really just secret code for "stuff I dont like".

Armored Teslas didnt reach that definition for the good faith DOGE team.

Big fucking surprise.

Sorry, but folks have no idea the chaos such actions cause for a lot of employees, supervisors, HR people, timekeepers, etc.   To think that just anybody, and Musk is just anybody as far as firings etc., can get away with this.  Ditch the DOGE is my vote, which will count for nothing, but that's my opinion until I hear of some sanity in the so-called efficiency process.

For all the hand ringing screaming and crying, only 9,500 jobs or 0.3% out of a 3 million person work force have been cut. I am sure the HR groups can handle it.

DoGE is likely on course to find enough in wasteful spending that would cover the taxes that will paid by all Americans for 2024.

Yet you still think the status quo would be better somehow.   Perhaps you have a mental deficiency?

Picture yourself suddenly getting an email that you are fired as of...when?  Today?.  Along with your job comes your health insurance, retirement benefits, next month's rent/mortgage, child care, gas for your car, utility bills, tuition, so many things most of us don't think about day to day.

And those HR workers would be subject to the same emergency losses as everyone else.

I hope those who got the 'early resignation' option (quit now, paid thru September) will NOT take that option if they can avoid it.  Stand firm.

Do you actually think that this will benefit us 'little guys'?  The way it is being done?  I don't.  More money for Musk and Trump and other bilionaires.

Candy, you have a big heart, but our family is thrilled about the risignation offer and are waiting and hoping  that there are not exclusions in the Hr field

I'm sure that people who die in a plane crash are greatly comforted by the fact that no others died in a plane crash that same week. And they aren't angry at the person who shot their plane down.

If you lost your job (I'm assuming that you've ever had one) for no good reason except that a billionaire wanted to impress his psycho fascist boss, you'd be "hand ringing," too.
