Picture yourself suddenly getting an email that you are fired as of...when? Today?. Along with your job comes your health insurance, retirement benefits, next month's rent/mortgage, child care, gas for your car, utility bills, tuition, so many things most of us don't think about day to day.
And those HR workers would be subject to the same emergency losses as everyone else.
I hope those who got the 'early resignation' option (quit now, paid thru September) will NOT take that option if they can avoid it. Stand firm.
