Thanks for asking!
Possible witnesses. Overseas human assets that might get killed. FBI agents that might get threatened. Informers close to Trump who told the truth.
I'm sure there are more reasons than that.

That is a gigantic load of liberal bullshit - and you know it.
And just the titles or descriptions of some top secret documents could endanger America and Americans.

The pile gets higher...
It is highly unusual to release the affidavit before the defendant is charged. It was redacted because it is an ongoing investigation. I note Trump's attorneys' never filed a motion to release the affidavit. It was on a motion from the media. Why do you think Trump didn't have his attorneys file a motion? It brings us to another reason why the affidavits are typically kept under seal during a criminal investigation. It is in case the defendant is not charged. The defendant wants to keep the bad acts he did from the public if those bad acts don't rise to the level of criminality.
In this case, we learned there was a large volume of classified documents Trump had purloined from the government that had been turned over prior to the search.

MAGA turds making death threats against people who reported Trump's crimes is the reason.

Things that are "TOP SECRET" usually arent made available to the public.
They shouldn't have released it at all. There was no obligation to do so, and there were plenty of reasons not to. The Orange Turd's whining shouldn't have been allowed to pressure them.
I have the feeling that this won't lead to an indictment, because Trump's bullshit about his magic ability to declassify even top secret documents is being taken seriously, and as I've said before, all a Trump criminal case has to do is hit a Trumpy judge, and it will go poof.
