It's a phenomenon called "cognitive dissonance." When confronted with facts that contradict their beliefs, many people choose to angrily denounce those facts rather than admit to themselves that their beliefs were wrong. It's just too painful for them to say, "Gee, well, I guess I was full of shit all along."
And because it's also painful to be in denial, people who suffer from cognitive dissonance repeat their beliefs over and over and over to anyone who'll listen, and angrily lash out at anyone who questions them. That describes our Davey-poo's behavior to a "T." The anger he directs at everyone on this board is really just an expression of the anger he feels at himself.
He, of course, has no evidence to back up his claims, which is why he cowardly dodges the question every time it's asked of him. And of course, that reminds him once again that he's pitching bullcrap. That makes him that much more ashamed and angry, which makes him erupt and insult people and call them liars. Watch. He'll do it again, likely within an hour or two of this post. That's what makes him pitiable.
The larger picture, of course, and what's really alarming, is that so many Trumpers are in the cognitive dissonance fog along with him. We have to live with these people, who threaten to kill employees of the company that makes the voting machines that were used to record the votes in the election that their hero lost. Marchers in the streets threaten officials who refuse to throw out the results of the election. And David threatens to kill people who disagree with him.
