In terms of Trump's overall treason, it depends on whether you define Russia as an "enemy." Trump certainly offered Russia "aid and comfort." It also depends on whether you define Russia's cyber-attacks on us as an act of war. Most people consider those acts to be exactly that; therefore Trump aided and encouraged an enemy of the US. This is a chain of logic somewhat beyond the cognitive abilities of Trumpers.
As far as Trump's overtures to the Ukraine, I don't think that qualifies as a treasonous act. It is, however, a rotten, shameful, and crooked thing for him to have done. The thievery of US assets in order to use them for political purposes is certainly a federal crime on several levels.
The scary part is, we haven't even come close to seeing the depths to which this scumbag will sink. Maybe he's simultaneously offering to send a few armored divisions to Russia to help them conquer the Baltic republics, in return for dirt on Sanders or Warren. After all, we already know that that sort of thing is in the Trump playbook.

Oh - and its worth noting the whistleblower in this case followed all of the procedures to submit his/her claim only to have those protections and procedures circumvented by Attorney General Barr who (like the Mueller report) is doing everything in his power to bury the evidence against the man who hired him.
Something this administration has revealed - our system of checks and balances is incredibly feckless. It presumes the executive branch respects those checks and its cooperation with them is largely assumed rather than mandated. The law is pretty clear that Barr's intervention here is completely illegal but the consequence for it is just a bunch of Democrat legislators kicking and screaming on cable news.
