Candy, I will ask you the same questions I asked Don and David.
What is your opinion on the legality of bribing foreign governments with taxpayer funds to have them criminally investigate your political opponents? And what is the legality of converting U.S. funds to personal use for the purpose of bribing foreign governments?
The legality of...your [skewed] assertions? Are you asking me if such actions qualify as treason? Well, since you brought the "L" word into it...I learned way back that since I am not an attorney, and more specifically not an attorney specializing in US Code, any attempt on my part to opine would be highly inappropriate, not to mention foolish.
Actually, I read that treasonous acts CAN (though realistically would be very difficult to meet) include online posts such as those you and Kevin feel so compelled to cram down our eyeballs day after day. It actually worries me that a bunch of goons might break into your house one night, drag you to a secret dungeon and torture you until you are dead for your beliefs. Oh...wait...this is the USA. A democracy, not a totalitarian state.
It is a Constitutional issue, not a U.S. code issue. As Don Diego so kindly pointed out, the U.S. code does not apply because we are dealing with high crimes committed by the President using the authority of his office to do so.
So Kevin and I are giving aid and comfort to the enemy by opposing Trump? Criticism of the leader might have passed for treason in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia but this is America and we have a long history of being critical of our leaders. In fact, it is a long-standing Democratic tradition that started with Socrates.
Plato describing Socrates:
I am the gadfly of the Athenian people, given to them by God, and they will never have another if they kill me. And now, Athenians, I am not going to argue for my own sake, as you may think, but for yours, that you may not sin against the God by condemning me, who am his gift to you. For if you kill me you will not easily find a successor to me, who, if I may use such a ludicrous figure of speech, am a sort of gadfly, given to the state by God; and the state is a great and noble steed who is tardy in his motions owing to his very size, and requires to be stirred into life. I am that gadfly which God has attached to the state, and all day long and in all places am always fastening upon you, arousing and persuading and reproaching you. You will not easily find another like me, and therefore I would advise you to spare me.

David, as Socrates would say, "Know thyself."

Ain't that the truth.
Then by Candy's and our other Trumpers' criteria, they were committing treason when they relentlessly criticized Obama.
I agree that Trump WANTS an environment where criticizing him is illegal. He's often fantasized aloud about locking up journalists who dare to report the truth about him.
And don't say that won't happen because "this is America." You poor Trumper saps don't realize how close we are to the destruction of our democracy. With YOUR help and enthusiastic support.

Update: stupid is as Trump does.
In Kevins Socialist world there is no room for Democracy - just do as he says and cow down to the all knowing Kevin. Reminds one of present day Venezuela and Hugo Chavez.
