Donnie Just Can't Stop Committing Treason

Mark writes:

"It is a Constitutional issue, not a U.S. code issue. As Don Diego so kindly pointed out, the U.S. code does not apply because we are dealing with high crimes committed by the President using the authority of his office to do so."

As DonDiego suggested in his earlier comment on this matter, DonDiego does not opine that President Trump is, in fact, guilty of any high crimes.

He is, nonetheless, not surprised that Mark and Kevin Lewis believe he is guilty, . . . or, in any case, would like to see President Trump found guilty.

Poor old DonDiego likewise doubts that "we are [close] to the destruction of our democracy" . . . or more precisely to the destruction of our Democratic Republic.  He suggests the concerned reader relax and discount such scarey chatter as political nonsense/propaganda.

Secretly Offering the Russian dictator a penthouse in a Moscow real estate project?   gathering dirt on your opponents with the worlds biggest thugs?  Firing the people assigned to investigate it? Using United STates Aid and basing US foreign policy on a selfish political agenda?     Using illegal campaign money laundering to shut up a hooker?   Spending taxpayer dollars at your prvate enterprise business?    Taking foreign money and special interst money at your private enterprise?    Underming the court system  and US intelligence agencies  with "Deep State" conspiracies?     Hiding your tax returns from COngressional oversight  even though by law you are not allowed to?      refusing to comply with Congressional subponeas?    Making up lies about 6 million people voting illegally ?

DonDiego is right !...nothing illigal or unbecoming of a sitting president there.    I mean, its not like he used a prviate email server or anything.   Holy moses, you should have seen the 2 years of pants shitting going on in the wake of that one!

I dont know what Repiublicans filled the swamp up with after they drained it....but it was a lot less scuzzy 3 years ago....except for that whole flagpin incident.

DonDiego said, As DonDiego suggested in his earlier comment on this matter, DonDiego does not opine that President Trump is, in fact, guilty of any high crimes.

I have to ask. What abuse of power by the President using his office would warrant impeachment in your view? When the Republicans impeached Clinton for lying about a BJ was that a sufficient abuse of power in your mind?  An Impeachment Inquiry ran correctly is an attempt to get at the truth as to what happened.

DonDiego said He is, nonetheless, not surprised that Mark and Kevin Lewis believe he is guilty...

I suspect he is. Hell, he confessed to withholding aid until they went after Biden at his presser today. That being said, I don't know for certain because we don't know the details. But the problem is Trump is currently breaking the law by withholding the whistleblower report from congress. If he is going to openly break the law to keep people from learning the truth, I don't think the Democrats have a choice. They have to Impeach him otherwise they are being derelict in their own Constitutional duty.

The really ironic thing is that by attempting to hurt Biden's candidacy (which I think was faltering) Trump really elevated it. I expect Biden's numbers to go up.

All this bunch of bullshit is doing is guaranteeing that President Trump will be reelected in a landslide. MAGA

When all of Trump's crimes and abuses of power are laid out with supporting evidence and it consumes weeks if not months of being broadcast live on cable TV even Moscow Mitch will be tempted to dump him to save his own hide.

An Impeachment Inquiry gives the Democrats access to all of the material that Trump has been illegally withholding. If a witness refuses to testify and refuses to plead the 5th they will be held in contempt and jailed until they have a change of heart. If administration officials refuse to hand over documents/recordings on Trump's orders they will be held in contempt and jailed until they have a change of heart. Everything in the courts will be fast-tracked, so Trump won't be able to hold people off in court for years. And a little birdie just told me a vote on Impeachment may be put in motion as soon as Friday if Trump refuses to turn over the whistleblower report by Thursday.

More bullshit.

Stock up on the kleenex Doc. Pelosi is whipping up the votes as I type this. Seven national security Democrats that had been holding out on Impeachment just gave it the green light.

Ah, the evidence continues to roll in.

President Donald Trump told his acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, to put a hold on almost $400 million in military aid for Ukraine at least a week before his July phone call with the Ukrainian president where he pressured the country to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden's son, the Washington Post reported Monday.

According to the paper, administration officials were told to tell lawmakers that the delay in aid was the result of an "interagency process" without giving more information.

We can see the obvious. Trump is a criminal.

Complacency on the part of the citizenry as the Republic is destroyed is exactly what the Republicans want. Civi liberties, human rights, and the rule of law will all be snuffed out unless we snuff out the Republican party, starting with Trump, first.

DonDiego's continuing touching faith in his hero is in many ways reminiscent of the continuing belief on the part of Germans in Berlin in April 1945, as bombs rained down all around them, that the mighty Fuhrer, military genius, would come storming out of his bunker and lead Germany to ultimate victory.

Yes, Trumpers' continued faith in their hero is indeed more bullshit. But he's a'goin' down, Trumpers, and you will be weeping as you watch Fox News.
