Donnie Just Can't Stop Committing Treason

Very true, David.  Which is why I rely on reruns of Law & Order for my legal knowledge.  I like Lenny Briscoe's (Jerry Orbach) words of wisdom the most.

Actually, one of the salient features of the series, especially the spinoff, SVU, is that the detectives frequently DIDN'T know the law, or didn't observe it, which often ruined their cases and drove their chief(s) and the DAs crazy. I'm thinking in particular of Stabler going batshit crazy on suspects and often beating them up. But every character--even Benson--was flawed in some way.

Lenny Briscoe was the perfect world-weary, cynical cop.

Kevin, can you no longer recognize humor?

What a wonderful day!  As Trump would say it is the most wonderful best day ever because it is all about him.

I'm beginning to think Mark and Kevin are the same poster.

I very much doubt that fritzie is beginning to think about anything. That would be a major character shift.

I knew you were making a funny. Can you no longer recognize when someone is making a parenthetical observation?

Stalker is so deranged that he thinks that my making an observation about a TV show means I've lost a debate.

What a brain-dead clown.
