That is a word for word quote. They have Trump on video saying it. I know a day later he is denying he said it while simultaneously claiming he really meant something else. Oddly, those denials are all you seem to have picked up on. Even old Sarah Suckabee Sanders had to jump off the Trump train after that one.

In July 2016, the Obama administration accepted unsolicited information from Alexander Downer, an Australian diplomat who just happened to have helped arrange a $25 million government donation to the Clinton Foundation years before. Downer said that he had witnessed a Trump campaign aide, George Papadopoulos, bragging about some dirt that the Russians supposedly had on Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
Liberals believe that if Hillary committed felonies and Russia had the dirt on these felonies, that Conservatives should ignore this dirt. That's the real story. Why do Libs care who has the dirt?
Trump was asked a hypothetical question and he gave a hypothetical answer. Liberals go nuts! Saying what he might do is the crime of the century, even if it wouldn't be illegal!
Mark, the Russians got THEIR info illegally, not Trump. Trump didn't pay for info "gatherd by Russian intelligence and gathered by illegally hacking computers in the U.S." Russia was acting on their own with that. The Trump campaign had nothing to do with it before, during, or after. That has already been proved in the Mueller report. The Russians, and the Clinton campaign and DNC meddled in the 2016 elections. Clinton got fake info from the Kremlin through the dossier, a dossier used to wiretap the Trump campaign by the Obama administration. Obama is guilty, Clinton is guilty, Comey is guilty, and God knows how many more democrats are guilty. I hope the DOJ indicts all of them.

The FBI (not Hillary's campaign) investigated George Papa-Boner after he openly bragged about cooridnating with Russia to help Trump. Which is to say they were investigating a reported federal crime.....Which is their job.
funny, isn't it? The people who told us Obama had no constituional authority to issue an executive order are now the ones telling us the FBI has no authority to investigate reported crimes.
And they're doing it in the context of trying to deflect away from their own embrace of Trunmp's treasonous behavior and promises to do it again. But thats allright, Tom. You'll always have Bengazhi.
