Dont drop the soap, Don !

Trump says he expects to be indicted on Tuesday

Forrest Griffin on Twitter: "Does USADA go to prisons or nah you ain't getting nothing but raisin wine in there." / Twitter

There's no way he ever gets actually convicted of anything...and even getting to trial is a long shot. He can always scare up enough money from his drooling loyalists to afford appeals, challenges, changes of venue, etc. etc. etc. Justice is for smaller-time crooks.

I don't think so. In a criminal case, most of the appeals you can file don't come until after you are convicted. For example, Cosby had a slam dunk appealable issue but he had to spend three years in prison waiting for his appeal to work it's way through the system.

Trump should be preparing himself to spend the rest of his life in prison because he is facing indictments in multiple jurisdictions. Even if he lucks out and they are all low level felonies a combined sentence of 6 to 10 years for all of his offenses is likely a life sentence for a morbidly obese 76-year-old.

Well, I hope you're right...but all that has to happen is for the case to hit a Trumpy judge, and it all goes away. And his lawyers know exactly who those judges are--hacks who shouldn't be running a hot dog stand and owe their positions to the Orange Turd. It's time to fulfill the quid pro quo.

Also...if a criminal case goes before a jury, it would only take one drooling Trump lackey to give the Orange Pusbag a Get Out Of Jail Free Card--and at least two out of five voting-age adults are Trumpers. The chances of a Trumper-free jury are basically nil.
