Trump regrets are coming in from all over the Internet. This poor fool doesn't see that they are the wasteful spending Doge is talking about.

Yes, its truly a shame that mass layoffs are necessary to put our bloated government and financial house in order. 1.9 trillion added to the debt last year. 35 trillion in total debt. We have to pay the piper.
Unfortunately Janet Yellen (and your man Biden) chose short term loans over long-term bonds when interest rates were near zero. They shifted about 30% of government borrowing to short-term borrowing. Now (thanks to Democrat financial incompetence), in the first 6-9 months of the Trump administration, 10 trillion in debt will have to be refinanced. TEN TRILLION! If it can be rolled over, it will be at much higher interest rates further sqeezing the ability of our government to operate. I'm afraid that unless Federal government spending is cut quickly and drastically, we're headed for insolvency.
Like most Americans, I support cutting waste, fraud and abuse in the Federal Government. It's true that DOGE is moving so fast they will make mistakes. I'm ok with that as long as they fix the mistakes and keep plowing forward. As to the young man you quoted, I hope he and the other 200,000+ probationary employees find gainful employment in the private sector. If he's as good an employee as he claims, that shouldn't be a problem, right? Cutting the Federal workforce would actually be disinflationary and help with the debt as those employees become producers of products and add to the tax base rather than bureaucrats who produce no products, mortage our future and waste some of our tax dollars on things like getting out the transgender vote in Serbia.
It's a real shame that Democrat obstructionists are trying to tie up a lot of these government efficiency measures with their frivolous lawsuits. We may be at a point where Republicans need to embrace a tactic favored by your side last year (Endorsed by Kamala & Chuck Schumer). Is it time to get rid of the senate fillibuster and legislate this agenda the American people voted for? I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with that since your party leaders endorsed the strategy just last year. Might as well expand the Supreme Court by another 10 members as you guys wanted while we're at it. I'm sure Trump could find some fine new Supremes for lifetime appointments. Or do you no longer think those are fine ideas?

There are lawsuits because Trump isn't following the law. And by the time it is all said and done the litigation costs and settlement costs will exceed any savings.
Mass layoffs at the FAA don't make much sense when planes are falling out of the sky. And a nuclear accident because you made a mistake firing people, isn't something that people can easily recover from.
Nobody should have a job for life & suing for that right is wrong.
300 people were fired at the faa or 0.06% of the workforce. I am sure the agency will be able to handle it.

Firing probationary paper shufflers is not going to cause a nuclear accident - exaggerate much?

They are suing because they have a contract and Trump broke it. Why wouldn't you sue if your employer illegally fires you and doesn't honor the contract between you? It's not rocket science. You break a contract you get sued by the other party.

Nobody should be fired from their job to satisfy the whims of a dictator and his lackeys.
Nobody should be fired from their job except for cause.
Stupid Tom.
"There is no greater threat to democracy than the grifting and outright effort to conceal the workings of the threats within that has been over seeing the American tax dollars for decades.” . America doesn't have a revenue problem, America has a spending problem. Now that someone is willing to take this on and expose to the American people where these problems are most prevalent, those screaming the loudest, have the most to hide.

And just how do you know the details of their jobs or whether they were "paper shufflers" ? Answer: you don't. You're talking out of your ass in order to justify the actions of THE ORANGE ASSHOLE WHOSE DICK YOU SO LOVINGLY AND CONSTANTLY SUCK. (Be sure to copy and paste that outside the Sink, in violation of Forum rules.)
You see, Dumb Davey Dog, I know where you're coming from. Even YOU know that Trump's actions are often indefensible. But you're not really here to discuss anything. You're here to start arguments. That gets you off. And you believe that incessantly praising Trump and apologizing for and defending his actions, all the while bending over and spreading your ass cheeks for him, is the best way to start and fuel those arguments.
And of course, you have a little gaggle of fellow MAGA trolls, of whom perhaps only Angry Charles and Nines are true believers--the rest are like you, putting on a MAGA hat in order to have fun making people angry.
So, given the above, I'm not going to point out what could happen when even a small number of safety personnel are removed.

There are lawsuits because Trump isn't following the law. Liberals used to believe that lawsuits be decided before coming to this conclusion.
