Why they continue to label these people protestors is beyond me.
TMZ is a trash site with low scruples, but even they did not label him as a protester.
Don, on the other hand...
. . . actually the site which DonDiego linked reads: "A man who allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at cops got way more than he bargained for when the explosion caught him on fire, . . . "
If that is insufficient, NBC News presented the same video with the title: "Video shows Portland protester catch fire during escalated police clash". [But, then again, even poor old DonDiego questions the motives of NBC.]

Or, . . . he may have been an innocent passer-by, . . . who threw a Molotov cocktail at the police. Or perhaps he was delivering a Molotov cocktail to a sick-friend down the street in a hospital and he just accidently dropped it, and it bounced towards the police.
Poor old DonDiego apologizes for any misunderstanding.
Seems to me he got what he deserved. Violence shouldn't be tolerated.
It made me chuckle. Hopefully he can never walk again.
Would that 'cocktail' be shaken, or stirred?
And for Mister, CBS was all over it as well. One of their leading stories.
And for Boilerman, the guy will be OK. I've seen worse on "America's Stupidest Stunts" or some such named TV shows. Teenage boys igniting the seats (or fly) of their own pants. Takes the biscuit, IMO.
"Stupidest Criminals" is an entertaining version as well.
