Draining the swamp

Scott Pruit, the scandal plagued EPA Administrator, resigned today.   He was not fired.   He resigned.    President Trump praised Pruitt's work on the way out, “Within the agency Scott has done an outstanding job, and I will always be thankful to him for this.”

Scott Pruit's personal swamp:

- Giving appointed friends unapproved raises within his department

- paying pennies on the dollar for a Washington Apartment sublet to him by energy lobbiests

- hiring a 24/7 security team

- extravagent taxpayer paid expenses on soundproof rooms, office furniture, first class flights, and personal vacations

- using the power of his office to solicit 6 figure jobs for his wife

- using the power of his office to solict Chic-Fil-A for a franchise for his wife

His replacement is a Coal Lobbiest, Andrew Wheeler.     Thats right.   The person in charge of keeping our air clean and coal mines safe is someone who's history is to bribe lawmakers into loosening safety and pollution laws

One snake out of the swamp....one snake in.

For a moment there, I thought PJ was describing another Democrat  - Maxine Waters immediately comes to mind. Apparently PJ finds it improper to conduct one's "business" like a Democrat if one is not a Democrat. How does it go - "do as I say, not as I do. Also, apparently the Democrats do not utilize any lobbiest's who "bribe" lawmakers. You just can't make this stuff up - keep up the postings,PJ - I can always use a good laugh.
