Drill, baby, drill!! Erp. Bidens war on fossil fuels!! Erp.

I just reread all of the postings here and noticed one glaring omission. No one has brought into this discussion the fact that with increased drilling and oil production America will be able to sell and export oil all over the world which will bring in billions of dollars to America. Also, states like Pennsylvania will be able to produce oil which will stimulate their economy - an economy that has suffered greatly the past 4 years.

Why have companies expanded production in the past?

Because of increased demand, duh, which isn't the case currently. Present production levels meet and exceed present demand.

We already do that. We're the world's largest exporter of fossil fuels. We have been ever since the second year of the Biden administration.

We ain't gonna sell as much, though, if the EU slaps reciprocal tariffs on us.

Bogus "source." But whatever---you moaned and whined about how we could be selling all our oil to the world, when the truth is, we already are.

The truth is - you lied again. With increased drilling and production, America will be selling more oil throughout the world. Now slime back under your rock Pinocchio, and stop lying.

We can only sell as much as other nations will buy. That's already happening. But very soon, the rest of the world will cut us off from all trade.

You may not understand this, Dumb Davey Dog, but making more of a product doesn't mean you'll sell more. There has to be demand as well.

Damn, why do I talk to this guy as if he was anything other than dumb scum?

Kevin proves once again that he doesn't know what he doesn't know.  Kevin, tell us why the US is the world's second largest importer of oil?  This should be fun.

I'd like to hear your take on this.

The fossil fuel companies have no interest at all in increasing supply,

If you don't increase supply eventually you run out of inventory, a concept alleged economist LAM can't seem to grasp

Not if your supply exactly matches your sales. Remember when "just-in-time inventory" was the big buzzword?
