So you're saying that President Trump was scammed by China as late as March 27, while there was clear evidence that China was criminally deceptive in January.

Mister apparantly hasn't noticed that Trump says lots of stuff to "butter up" leaders if he believes that it'll improves his ability to negotiate favorable deals.  Some of us figured that out years ago.

So you're saying that President Trump lied to the American people on March 27 while praising China. Just to butter up President Xi?

Wow, I remember when Republican presidents used to say things like, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

But, I'll say it again, bullies are cowards.

So we should excuse Trump's lying and incompetence because he was just being a bigly genius diplomat?

The sad thing is, I believe that's exactly what he thought he was doing. Bullying China hadn't worked--in fact, it had blown up in his face--so he resorted to crude flattery.

As if Xi didn't realize that! He played Trump like a fiddle, while the unread briefing reports were removed from Trump's desk and shredded.

Liberals have spent all of their time analyzing Trumps words regarding the beer virus, and little time analyzing Trumps actions.  I certainly don't know, but I suspect that Trump's goal has been to minimize the overblown fear that people like Kevin are now paralyzed by.

Trump recognized the damage that could be done to the economy due to shut down, while others only focused on the single issue of dealths caused by the virus.  This is not going to play out well, as history will confirm that the economy should never have been shut down.

Not me. I've taken the President's words at face value. I mean Americans should be able to trust the president to mean what he says, right?

You guys want to call it the "China virus?" Cool, but here's a prediction. In the media, in advertising, and right here you're going to get this kind of stuff right back in your face:

Mister, while an accurate name for this thing is the Wuhan virus, please cut and paste one example of me calling it the Chinese virus.  I've called it the beer virus many times, once causing Kevin to lose his mind.

Left wingers on this site have focused on Trump words of calm, complaining that he isn't doing anything.  The facts prove that you guys are ignoring the truth of the actions that this administration has taken.

Joe Biden last year "China is going to eat our lunch?  Come on man"

"I mean you, you know they're not bad people, folks. But guess what, they're not, they're not competition for us"

And let's not forget Biden's son is on the board of a billion dollar Chinese investment company. 

He was supposed to leave, but he is still listed as a board member.

Folks don't care when someone says we're greater than China. They do care if someone tries to blame China and bow down to China at the same time.
